I moved to Hudson recently, and don't have a car. Riverview has always been on time, and the drivers are friendly and courteous.

So sad when grown men cant admit fault. Its a terrible quality, that of any seedy shameful person. They are trying to say it isn't the right company before RECOGNIZING there is a PROBLEM that is THEM. And these are the same people that complain about the young people being whiners. Wow. The dude that works has a drinking problem and a lingering attitude of divorce and lack of effort. He needs to leave his issues at home and act like a grown man at work. Re: No, I verified. Useless and unreliable.   My husband and I needed to get home from the hospital following a car accident where our car was totalled.   It was 11:10 on a Friday night - a time when most taxi companies are operating at full swing.   I called Riverview to get a ride.   After ringing for quite a while, an angry, groggy man finally answered the phone, annoyed that I "called so late". He said he can't help me, and hung up.  So I called a different number, and the same man answered, now even more irate than before, demanding to know why I called back!   I explained that I had just dialed a totally different number and had no way of knowing that I was calling the same company under a different phone number.   Needless to say, Riverview taxi - mere blocks from the hospital - couldn't (or wouldn't) accommodate us in an emergency situation, and their nasty attitude just added to insult to injury -  literally. read more

Trust me. Do not use this taxi company!!! This guy is rude and, judging by other reviews (I should've looked first), he will rip you off. Do not call this guy and ask for a car because he is angry, (sounded) drunk and would not trust him or anyone he pays to be behind the wheel. I called for a cab, as it was pouring with rain. I then called 2 mins later, to say we would walk instead, as the rain had stopped. That's called being courteous. There was no taxi in site. He yelled at me: "Do not call me again!" REALLY, sir? You're a small cab company. Being a business owner & manager myself, you would be fired on the spot. Your response should've been: "OK! Thanks for letting us know. No problem. Next time!". Not that you need another bad review to convince you, but these guys are not only unreliable but also rude and shady. Called for a taxi, told 15 minutes, called 25 minutes later to check and "they were already there" I said we were outside and he hung up on me. Called back, someone else answered and suddenly they just "didn't have anything available" So it's fun for them to leave people stranded, basically. Hudson needs uber and lyft! read more

Called these guys for a taxi to Hudson train station a few months ago. They quoted price. When car turned up, driver told me we had to make another stop in Chatham because she was doing "medical transport", despite my protests that this was a private taxi. Dropped off medical passenger in Hudson and then at train station when I said fare should be reduced as it was a shared ride, I was threatened that if i didn't pay full quoted fare, i would be prosecuted for "theft of services". When i refused - offering $25 instead of $30 - owner called Hudson police who came and interviewed me and driver. I offered to pay $25 again, even sent a check that was never cashed. In short, in my view this firm is unreliable and abusive to say the least. Danger. Stay away read more

This is the absolute WORST cab service I have ever encountered. Their cars are dirty; they arrive late; their drivers frequently have to ask for driving directions to the most well-known destinations. They often don't answer their phone and when they do they are invariably rude. If you have nothing but time and are out to cop drugs, this is the taxi for you... read more

Called ahead and was promised a train pick up, however upon arrival there was no driver for us. We were provided with inaccurate information and no solution, and no sincere apology. Another company, Pronto, was able to take care of us. Call them first. read more

I have had multiple horrible experiences with this taxi company, specifically the owner. I use this taxi company every morning. My pick up time is always between 7:30am - 7:45am. One morning the taxi came and was honking outside my house at 7:05am. My husband went outside to tell the driver that my usual time is 7:30-7:45 and that it would be 10 mins so I could get dressed. I also called the owner and told him it would be 10mins since he was early. Meanwhile I was up all night with my 7mth old son who had a 104.7 temp. Not even 10mins later the owner calls me back asking me how much longer because they have other people to pick up, I told him 5mins and I'll be ready. As I was getting off the phone with him I see the taxi pulling away from my house, I called the owner back to ask where my taxi was going that's when he told me she left me because she has other people to pick up. I told him they came a half hour early and he said I could get 5 more minutes which I didn't even get. He then told me I should be ready an hour before they pick me up. He completely ignored the fact that he told me I could have 5 more mins but she was gone not even a minute after he told me that. I questioned him as to why he would lie to me and why he wouldn't notify me that I was getting picked up early and all he kept saying is "I'm not fighting with you". He had a very very nasty tone and was very nasty with me. I have had other encounters with the owner where he was also very nasty. And some of his drivers are rude as well. They talk about the people they drive around and give out their personal information. I would never recommend this company to anyone ! read more

Just poor service over all for medical transportation, one time they left me in ALBANY with out a way back, this time they did not have me scheduled for a ride, sure that could have been Medicaids fault but a good company would have accommodated that. The taxi that was supposed to pick me up at the Hudson train station never appeared and left me stranded in the middle of a very cold night. When I tried to call them, I only got the answering machine and they never returned my calls. Possibly one of the worst experiences of my life. read more
