I was not listened to nor did they care to review my history with me or my spouse.. Question which was pertinent! The hospitalist decided to cut off ALL pain meds suddenly when I desaturated at night WHICH I TOLD THEM WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME OXYGEN! When she was asked about it her response was "I thought we had a good rapport!". How is ignoring your medical history, not asking you about your past medication's and subjecting you to sudden withdrawal not to mention the return of your legitimate pain a good rapport??? The other doctors acted as if they were too busy to deal with me and no one came in and talk to me! No one except that hospital doctor. My own surgeon said to me they don't know you. They don't know your history so for the first time in my life, I felt unsafe and the hospital and signed myself out AMA. How is that? Good rapport?? Be careful if you're admitted to this hospital the staff is overworked, the nurses understaffed so much that they don't have time to deal with anybody who has a complicated case . I used to work at this hospital as a professional and I'm ashamed to even admit that. Don't go there if you can avoid it unless you enjoy being ignored and being treated like you're an addict.

Before that, she prescribed Welbutrin and my daughter had severe hallucinations after the first dose. I was later told by a psychiatrist that this was a sign of bipolar illness and no further SSRIs should have been prescribed, but Bergstrasser doesnt believe psychiatrists can be trusted, thats what she told us. I called her when my daughter began behaving very angrily on the Paxil and Bergastrsser told me this was between HER AND MY DAUGHTER. After the psychotic break in early winter 2008 my daughter never recovered, The only reason Bergstrasser wasn't sued is because our malpractice lawyer told me my daughter would be unable to give a deposition. ​In 2011, after three more hospitalizations, she took her life. The letter she wrote me told me the MEDICATION she was given in 2007 opened a spirit world. She had been hallucinating and planning her death EVER SINCE.
