I'd like to first start by thanking Dr Fugo and his team for their warmth, honesty and kindness! My…read morefirst appointment was absolutely wonderful and couldn't have asked for a better consultation. The consultation was so great that I ended up getting surfaces the same day. I ended up getting lip fillers, fillings by my crows feet, tattoo removal and micro-blading. I'll list each one for those patients interested in anything I got. Tattoo Removal- I am currently on session 3 and my tattoos are practically gone. The lasering is painful regardless of numbing for me, but it is so fast that it doesn't make it a big deal. Comes to about 30 seconds for me. First I saw Caitlyn and now I see Katie and each person I have seen has been wonderful and informative. Fillers- Lip was easy, I bruised for the first week but the results lasted longer than the anticipated. My lips were nice and full for a little over a year. My crows feet didnt last long but for me they were my smile lines and totally expected. Microblading- Again, kind of painful. It was a process and my stomach growled the entire time. Katie and I both laughed about this which told me that I need a burger before my next session. I was told the results would last about 1yr. l still have full brows and its been about 2+ years since that time frame and people compliment me often on my brows and I have caught people talking about how nice they actually look. Dr Fugo and his staff work on not just creating a great relationship with their patients but also on the work that they do and it shows. I had surgery on my knee due to an injury and Katie took the time to personally email me and see how I am doing and that has meant a whole lot to me. I look forward to every upcoming session oncoming. Thank you Dr Fugo and staff!

Update: 3 years, almost $20k paid to a different surgeon to fix my body later, I finally built up…read morethe courage to post the photos of how my body looked after Dr. Fugo did my tummy tuck and convinced me I only needed to have lipo on my chest & that their would be little to no excess skin because of the lipo he claimed to use that would help retract the skin. I received a final cease and desist letter this week from his attorney after I posted a truthful review of my experience. I feel the only way to validate my story is to post the photos as proof of my claims of receiving horrible results to not only be truthful but to help someone else not endure what I went through. IMO i receivers horrible results. Most of the photos were taken between the 6-18 months post op mark of tummy tuck and lipo on my chest. I feel instead of sending threatening letters it would have been better to reach out and offer an apology and own up to the fact that maybe you didn't do a good job, and realistically offer some sort of refund. We are humans and make mistakes because no one is perfect but receiving the letter further caused emotional damage due to the fact that I am being nothing but truthful and have no malicious intent. This is my story, my body therefore I deserve to share it. I believe the photos below serve as vindication. Maybe some people won't feel the results were horrible but in my opinion they are. I have plenty more photos all of which are time stamped and can be validated. As I stated below: I was NOT offered a free revision I was told it would be 7k additional for him to fix his work. I was told that was a discount since I was HIS patient. It took me over 2 years to save enough money to have another surgeon FIX what Dr.Fugo was paid to do. Original Review: Horrible results. I had a tummy tuck and he recommended liposuction on my chest after massive weight loss and made my chest look 10x worse than it was. I feel the tummy tuck was botched, the incision was too short (which he admitted it was and needed to be extended) leaving me with a tremendous amount of excess skin in my flanks/ abdomen. When I called the day after my tummy tuck because I was experiencing issues that were not normal it seem like I was being a bother. IMO his bedside manner prior to the procedure was incredible but after the procedure he had a totally different attitude during follow ups when I addressed my concerns. I spent over $16k on the procedure and when I went in for a follow up he told me the incision needed to be extended and I would have to pay another 7k for him to fix HIS MISTAKE. I left and endured mental and emotional trauma for this, I had many emotional nights and couldn't even look in the mirror. I had to spend almost another 20k for a doctor to correct the mess he made. Thank God I found a doctor that was able to do a revision and fix the disaster that was made.I was ashamed to even post the pictures of the way Dr.Fugo left my body after the procedure with him but now I had no choice but to share them to help someone else who is choosing a surgeon. Too bad I wasn't one of the lucky patients that apparently had a good experience with him. My opinion is my opinion, my story is my story. I will let the after photos speak for themselves.

From the moment I walked in the door he gave me nothing but grief! When I tried to give him a background history of my accident and all that I went through in the past years and what I was feeling. He explained to me that what I was feeling was incorrect, it had nothing to do with my knee! So he recommended me see a back surgeon ( one of this friends from his old practice that they used to own) because he believe that's where my problem was. I could not believe what I've been hearing from this man!! so I went back to my old doctor with a (new problem) saying that it DR BARRY S. HYMAN say it's my back. My old doctor was puzzled but said OK and recommended me going for an MRI, I did so! Just as I thought, my knee trouble was not caused by my back it was caused by my accident. So I don't understand how I can go to a man with my Workmen's Comp case (he takes Workmen's Comp) but wants nothing to do with the case. Someone explain this to me! By the end of my second visit with this man we were in agreement that I would not return to him and I would find a new doctor. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody! DR BARRY S. Reading other reviews, apparently I'm not the only one having a similar experience, not once but twice. How hard is it to write a prescription for PT? Apparently, it's out of the wheelhouse of the physician. First time, didn't code it right, and in reading it afterward, it was for the wrong body part. Took 2 weeks to get it rectified, along with 6 phone calls to the office, who apologized, and sent the exact same wrong prescription over to the PT place, finally corrected. Follow up appointment, I get 4 different texts, starting a week ahead asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did. The day of my appointment, I arrive on time, to find my appointment has been cancelled. Reason? Doctor had emergency surgery. Somebody called you, but no one answered. I have no idea who they called, but it wasn't me, show my phone history to the very nice receptionist, she sighs, and says well, they were supposed to call you. Phone number in the system is correct, but none of the other information is correct. They have an address that I haven't lived at in 26 years, I actually have no idea, how they have this address. Second time correcting that issue, and the follow up cancelled appointment is 2 months after the first visit. How long does it take them to correct an address? I see the doctor today which is 2 days after the cancelled appointment. Issues haven't changed, he asks me why I haven't had the MRI..... to which I replied "What MRI"?, they should have scheduled it at the front desk. Turns out it was scheduled, but the MRI place never called me (Or so they say). Go figure....probably got that same wrong phone number from the office. So, I tell the physician, the issues with the first prescription, and how it delayed care.....(crickets) didn't get a response. I check out, and I'm supposed to pick up a script for more PT and an MRI at the front desk. No script for PT, call goes back to the doctor, and I have to wait for the script, albeit only 15 minutes. Nurse apologizes, very nice, I didn't look at it, and left for the PT place to drop it off. Guess what? Wrong script, wrong body part. Script for MRI is correct, PT nope. How could this be anything other than the physician himself. It wasn't just a simple oops and some clerical mistakes, this entire operation from all aspects has no idea what they are doing, read the other reviews I am not an anomaly at all. Now the Physician. He is a spine doctor. I was referred to him by another orthopedist who said, not my specialty, and from your symptoms you need someone with this expertise. Correct just not this guy. She was willing to treat the issues I had with my knee which was very swollen, bruised and some meat removed from it. The first visit is about 1 1/2 months after the accident. After seeing him twice, I can't for the life of me fathom a guess as to why it took so long to get an appointment. I was in a head on auto accident with another vehicle who entered our lane of traffic. Now, I was specifically seeing him, because another physician recommended I see him, didn't pick him out of a phonebook or for any other reason. To say he seemed disinterested is being polite, barely examined me, and said it's going to take a long time until you feel better. The nurse had to bring up the chart for him to look at it and see for the first time. Same second go around, didn't bother to look and even question why a test he ordered wasn't performed, before going to see him a second time. Now my daughter was with me for the first exam. Her opinion was what a waste of time that was he barely looked at you. Second visit was shorter and less of an exam than the first. No follow up, no follow through, and couldn't be bothered. Do not waste your time, I went to a spine doctor who never physically examined my spine.

Since COVID I get a text for preregistration. I get this sometimes a whole week prior. I usually wait for the same day of the appointment to o fill it out as they require the co-pay to be paid as well. For this reason I wait in case they reschedule an appointment (which I've had appointments cancelled and not by me). Yet when texting in the past long lot that I'm present for my appointment I'm informed that the referral is expired. Why not tell me in text sent a week prior? I could've arranged to get the referral. Now I'm being stressed that I would be responsible , blah, blah blah. Plus when i do get the referral they insist on my primary to fax it over. They're busy as well. Train your people to go into the site and retrieve them or hire competent people to do so. Anyway. I cancelled the appoint and rescheduled. Not gonna jump through hoops. Although I'm hurting I'm not gonna get high blood pressure for something that could've been prevented by the staff.

I am an octogenarian and have seen him for both knee and foot/ankle issues over the years. And what I really like about him is that he is willing to go with conservative treatments first and does not opt for surgery unless it really seems necessary. My son literally had a 5 minute scan with no tests done. They give him basically an over the counter knee brace that would cost $30 in Walmart. It was not fitted to him it was just something they had in back. Fast forward a month they send me a bill for over $3000 and say they do not accept my insurance. It says right on my personal insurance plan that they do accept I even emailed the billing department the proof as it was listed. Plus let's not forget that they also confirmed prior to my visit they accepted it. Well now no one will take my calls, office staff a nightmare. They will not call back or help in any manor. I called my insurance and they said all they need is them to give an authorization and it will be covered but they will not cooperate! I warn anyone thinking of going to Beware! You may think you are going somewhere covered by insurance and a month later you will be dealing with the same nightmare as me! I am reporting them to American Medical Association as well as getting Legal Council.
