most of my initial visit i listened to the doctor enumerate his expertise, general background, and the importance of each of his numerous degrees. about 15 minutes was spent applying pressure to 3 nerve locations near my frozen shoulder. there was no positive reaction to his "treatment". there was very very minor advice re helpful physical therapy. i have gotten 20 times more help from facebook! i felt scammed big time by a narcisstic type personality. $450 not covered by insurance down the drain. read more

I started going to MOVE in the winter of 2019 for some bulging discs in my neck after having seen several other physical therapists that never made me feel confident about living an active life again. The general feeling I had going in is that even though I was barely 30 my body had been beaten up enough where I had to stop working out and being athletic, and this feeling was more or less confirmed by all of my previous therapists A) only telling me about things I couldn't do or else I would get more hurt, and B) never telling me what I could to do feel better in the long term. I saw Justin Sullivan at MOVE, and over the course of a year he helped me isolate what I was doing that caused these problems in my neck and taught me what I could do on my own to prevent further injury. Most important, my time working with MOVE gave me back the peace of mind I lost that I had agency over my body, which is what I am most grateful for. read more

I had a knee injury that required surgery and physical therapy to recover range of motion and strength. Surgeons said their goal was for my knee to recover to the point of being considered "functional". I'd been to 2 other physical therapy clinics before finding MOVE Physio but had discouraging results that had begun to plateau well before I'd expected. Within 1 week of switching to MOVE and working with Dr. DeNoyelles, I'd made significantly noticeable and measurable improvements, starting on another steep improvement curve. I'm now beyond the expectations of the surgeons, very functional, and working with Dr. DeNoyelles to get back to peak athletic performance. I was a client of Dr. Sullivan and was there for an injury to my middle back from what seemed like severe muscle strain. Dr. Sullivan found that along with my strain, a had decreased rotation in my spine to the right which may have led to my injury. Dr. Sullivan gave me manual adjustments when necessary and instructed me on a list of exercises to do. He gave me supervision when performing my exercises and instruction when needed. I preferred not having him hovering over me as I performed all my exercises since I find that weird. I have been to other therapy places where the therapist hovers over me while I exercise trying to make small talk and found I hated it and it just made me feel as though they thought I was too incompetent to perform my exercises. Thank you again Dr. Sullivan, since my work with you I can now lift things at work without pain. And yes, I still do my stretches. read more

While I think MOVE helped my physical well being to a small extent, I've had too many other issues to continue being a MOVE client. From the beginning, I never felt there was transparency with how my insurance would be courtesy billed and how much they would cover. I was also disappointed that in my initial meeting, it was made to sound like I would see significant progress after the first package of three visits. However, I didn't, and I began to feel like I was just being pushed into a never-ending cycle of package purchases, that I wouldn't find out until later that insurance mostly wouldn't even apply towards my deductible because of the exorbitant pricing. (That's with good insurance with out of network coverage.) I also found it frustrating how there was no receptionist or office staff available to help at visits. I could never sign in on the iPad throughout my time as a client, because nobody bothered to give me a client number to log in with. Plus, it seemed she was always running late, so I was constantly arriving on time for my appointments, but then would wait 10-20 minutes to be seen. (For a half hour appointment, that seems excessive.) I was willing to spend extra money to see an actual physical therapist at times when it suited my schedule. However, it doesn't feel like my time or money was respected and I never saw the results that were promised. read more

Went to Move for rehabilitation of my right leg after extensive surgery. I was only able to limp into Move when I first began therapy in March and two months later my therapy ended and I am now able to walk normally and also JOG. Dr. John DeNoyelles is a fantastic therapist, very hands on and I looked forward to going to my sessions which were twice a week. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the place is very clean. I highly recommend Move to anyone who is looking for a physical therapist or in need of therapy. read more
