I only needed exterior cleaning so I opted for the mid-range $20 car wash. A worker is stationed at the entrance of the car wash that makes sure you are aligned on the track before entering. The kids enjoyed the light show as you move through the tunnel. My car was shiny and clean, including the overhang on the trunk that most car washes miss. The car wash uses soft microfiber clothes to wash your car though I'll always be concerned about the dreaded swirls in your paint. A few spots on my tires and side view mirrors were missed. What I found is that the area between Clinton and Waldorf does not have a ton of great-quality car washes, so I was excited to see a new option. And honestly, based on my experience, I will have to come back! It's pretty brand new, so with the exception of the mat washing station, everything is in great working order. This is car wash spot that offers, unlimited membership, à la car, car, washes, free, vacuums, and a number of other things. As a member, and maybe even if you just buy regular car washes, you get free wipes and air fresheners. Love that. The vacuums actually do suck. But I mean that in a good way. At other nearby car washes, there is very little suction coming from the vacuums. That is not the case here. The vacuums worked really well and helped me get months of dropped snacks and everything in between out of the car. If you're a member, you also have access to the members lounge, which features a sink for handwashing, as well as complementary beverages. There is a whole fountain soda machine in here, which is a huge perk if you're cleaning out your car and want something cool to drink. Love that. At the vacuum stations, there is glass cleaner as well as all purpose cleaner and reusable towels. There's a spot for clean towels and dirty towels, and they were well stocked on my visit. What I appreciated most, however, was how nice the employees I had the opportunity to interact with her. There was one man, in particular, who was extremely kind. He's the one who welcomed me to the car wash, explain, explained how it worked, told me about the perks and benefits, and checked in on me as I was doing my thing to make sure I had what I needed. He was super nice and pleasant across the board. Also worth noting, if you have a membership, you can go through either of the two open lanes. There is someone there to guide you into the car wash, which I always find helpful. Their prices on their site are super reasonable, too. I think they're running a special since they've just opened, but even without it, the prices are about what you would pay elsewhere and for the value you get, totally worth it. Josh was a total pro in setting up the appointment and confirming it the day before. Josh sent four guys and they worked on the cars for about 4 hours. I went for the highest package because (like I said) the cars were dirty. Now they look like they came off the showroom floor. It is definitely clean, but after riding in it for one day, I've noticed some areas that they missed. I paid for the platinum package which is $230 for a crossover vehicle. The interior is leather, and with two kids the seats had spills and splashes. While those splashes are gone, my seats do not look conditioned as the package advertises. I'm guessing conditioned means that a conditioning product is applied to leather, but there's no slight shine to it. So I'm unsure if that was done. The e-brake area still has debris under it, a lot of it. So I was a bit disappointed that it was overlooked or forgotten about. The back and sides of my seats still had a little bit of specks on them, which didn't seemed wiped down completely. Windows were clean inside and out, so that was a plus. Tires were shiny and rims were cleaned. Carpets were vacuumed and shampooed. Trunk mat and carpet underneath were cleaned and vacuumed. The main reason why I'm not doing 4 stars is because I called the day before and we agreed on 9 AM the next day. At 9:15 I called and left a message. A couple minutes later I got a text saying they were running behind and that the crew would call me shortly. Not long after that, they called me to let me know they would be there in 30 mins. They got here at 10, technically an hour after what I was expecting, and I would've preferred to have gotten a text or call letting me know they would be late, instead of me waiting 15 mins to call and see what was going on. An hour into the job, they let me know they have to go back and get some equipment they forgot. An hour later, they were back. By 2:30 they were finally done. The men worked hard and did an overall good job. My car wasn't squeaky clean to begin with, and it is definitely cleaner now. But I wish the owner/crew would've notified me about being late sooner, and that they had all the equipment they needed for the job. The pricing seems on par with detailers in the DMV, but for that price, I would've loved a little more attention to detail and getting here on time with everything they need for the job.
