I had been hypothyroid for many years and was taking the same dose of medication that all of the sudden didn't appear to be working for me. After careful consideration, I called Dr. Vanlue's office and setup my free consultation with the doctor. Once I spoke with him I knew that it was the right place for me. He listened very carefully to my concerns and gave helpful feedback and answers. He also offered a payment program that made it more affordable for me to become a new patient. Dr. Vanlue is a sports medicine physician who specializes in using an integrated approach with bio identical hormone therapies. His office is very professional, friendly and highly accommodating. He does not accept insurance and instead runs his practice on a private pay basis. However, insurance is recommended in order to cover all of your labs. Once you have established yourself as a new patient you will be sent a new patient packet, an Rx for all of your labs and a saliva kit to complete and return for analysis. Once all of the results are returned you will go into the office to discuss your results and go over recommended treatments and or therapies. Dr. Vanlue addressed my complicated thyroid issue and explained everything else that was going on with my body. Due to my age my female hormones also needed to be addressed. He explained that my body was making lots of testosterone and very little female hormones and I was also seriously lacking in some other vital nutrients. Since beginning my bioidentical regimen I am feeling so much better. Dr. Vanlue is not only excellent at what he does, he genuinely loves what he does. Dr. Bachoura is the third orthopedist I have seen in the area for my hands/wrists and he is absolutely wonderful! I saw the Rothman Orthopedic building in downtown Orlando and thought, "Well, may as well try that practice." I am so happy they have their practice name on a skyscraper! From the moment I walked in, I was helped immediately by friendly staff. I could not use my right hand, and they made sure my new patient check in went smoothly. The reception area is large, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, as are the radiology room and the patient rooms. Wait time was minimal for every step of my visit. I was impressed with the way the doctor and staff listened to my concerns and acknowledged and discussed them all with me. The doctor explained my issues and treatment plan very well in terms I could easily understand, and he was patient in listening to and answering all of my questions. I was also impressed to see very modern technology used which I have not seen in my many past visits to various orthopedists. I was at a level 10 pain when I entered the office. I was at a zero pain level when I left the office! I am very happy and content now knowing I have such a wonderful doctor and team to take care of my hands and wrists! I will be making an appointment with a shoulder specialist at the practice next week, and I will also be making an appointment for my husband (knee) very soon. My experience has been absolutely wonderful and if you are looking for an integrative pediatrician, I truly believe you will not find anything better than this practice. Staff - I adore all of the staff at CIPC. Dr.C was incredibly intelligent and kind. Debi and Gail, the NPs are super sweet and take time to explain everything. Mel, Wendy, and the other nurses are a wealth of knowledge and remember patients on a first name basis! Ear infections - I want to highlight this because its so significant to me. CIPC rarely ever prescribes antibiotics for ear infections. You know why? Because most ear infections can be solved by a quick chiropractic adjustment to drain the tubes. When my oldest son, 4 months at the time, presented with redness and fluid in his ears, our previous pediatrician gave him a dose of antibiotics. When that didn't solve it, they wanted to give him ANOTHER dose. Nope, moved over to CIPC and after one look, then sent us to an integrative chiropractor. Within a week, he was perfectly healed! We now go proactively once a month to get both of my kids ears adjusted and neither of them have ever had an ear infection! We started full time as patients after that. Service - the service in my opinion is the best of the best. Every appt is 30-60 minutes long! Most ped offices give you 10-15 minutes tops, so this is unique. They take time to hear your concerns, address them, and solve medical problems by getting to the root cause of the issue instead of just writing a prescription to mask symptoms of underlying disease. They are always available - my youngest son (6 months) is currently sick and I've called nearly every day to speak to a nurse. They always take my call, spend time on the phone with me to hear my concerns, and help me out with either an appt or OTC recommendations. This practice is more boutique-style, so there is a $100/month charge for your children to be a patient there. But to me, it's 10000% worth every penny. Vaccines - this may or may not be important to you, but I love that they start their *optional* vaccine schedule at 6 months instead of 2 months. This gives time for the gut micro biome to become more established before starting vaccines and the detox process. Additionally, they prefer to vaccination when your child is healthy. When my oldest was 9 months old, he was due for a vaccine, but when I brought him in, he had a mild temperature and a little cold. It was advised we wait until he is 100% healthy before giving him the vaccine - amazing. All other ped offices would have given it to him anyways, potentially making him feel worse. We came back 3 weeks later when he was healthy and it was a quick in and out 10 min appt for the shot. I LOVE CIPC. I started at another very popular ped office but was discouraged when they kept prescribing my son antibiotics and medicines for seemingly minor issues. My two boys (toddler and 6m old) have never had to be on any antibiotics or prescription meds since joining CIPC. Every ailment has been solved with a natural, integrative approach and for that, I'm eternally grateful.
