The water pressure was less than a house hose and couldn't remove the bugs from the front of the truck...which was why I went there, as the rest of the truck was clean. Also, the card tap/timer is sketchy and doesn't give you a timed amount so you guess your vehicle will cost $10 to wash and that's what it charges you. If you don't use the full amount, too bad...that is what you got charged and will stay on and until the magical time runs out. I left there, even after using the brush, to find bugs still on the windshield and front of the truck. Definitely won't go back and I was surprised, since Hughes generally has decent car washes. I think this one is the lemon.

Well, aside from your own front yard ;-) I usually skip the wax and the foam brush I only use a bit because when I go to rinse that foam soap off it just flies everywhere and makes me crazy. I can wash my car for $4 and my minivan for $5 easy peasy with the high pressured soap gun and rinse... and that's good enough for me!

All the car wash building heard for ten minutes was a screaming Asian woman, as she sprayed and washed her car frantically. I used my credit card to pay the wash. IMPORTANT INFO: Make sure to press the STOP button in the charging machine once you are done with washing, otherwise, your credit card will be charged the maximum amount of the service which is $25. Also, don't be alarmed when you see in your bank account that you have a pending of $25 charge. The machine preauthorizes $25 in your card ahead of time, but will clear it to the actual amount in a few days..... A bunch of dumbasses in Google reviews keep complaining about this one.... The attendant was also courteous enough to remind me about that too... All in all, I paid only $8 for washing my car thoroughly, washing my mats, and vacuuming the interior of my car. NOT BAD, right? .... I also ended up getting a free shower too because I am a noob. The end.

Today I decided to go, and upon parking in the bay, was approached by 2 employees who offered to wash my car for training purposes. I was surprised at first but then obliged (free car wash- hello!). The older gentlemen training a younger teenager was excellent, kind and did a fantastic job. While he was explaining the different rinses etc. someone need help with the ATM machine, so they paused their work, which I was totally fine with and went to help the customer. It was not very busy at all, as I was the only vehicle in one of the bays, and only a couple in the 2nd one. Anyways, they returned to finish my vehicle and then another man appeared at the other end and pointed to the trainee and say "You! You work here??" and motioned for him to come over. He then started with say "Do you KNOW who I AM??!" ( I quickly learned that he was the owner) and he proceeded to VERY loud and angrily reprimand both employees where I could see and hear. It was honestly super uncomfortable. I just wanted to rinse off my vehicle and leave to go pick up my daughter. After that, they returned looking quite dejected. They finished the job and refused any money I tried to offer them. I said thank you and told them that the other guy was a dick. Upon leaving my review on their FB page, I quickly learned that there is an ENTIRE group dedicated to people who would like to see this owner (of both the Spruce and Stony) locations put out of business because of this very reason. Apparently this is normal behaviour for him, and I just cannot support a business where employees are treated in this way. Why even bother having offices if you're going to humiliate people like that? Randomly searched hand car washes on google/Yelp and came across this location!…read more As spacious as other hand wash places, the painted camera/motion sensor box thingy near the main bay doors was a rather nifty touch- very retro Wall-E feel Very glad it was a real coin wash (loonies/toonies) and not some fancy car wash coins. I took the vehicle to mighty clean auto spa and the owner was incredible. The owner lent my his own vehicle since the lender was already in use, so I could make my Dr appointment. The staff cleaned my car better than any cleaners we had previously used as well for almost 200.00 cheaper!!!! Bubble car wash 8 months before had told me the stain on my husbands seat would never come out and gave me back my vehicle with the stain. Auto clean removed this stain and literally every crevice of the car was cleaned. I appreciated all the service and was so thankful to have the car nice and clean for our baby's first ride home.
