When I walked in for my scheduled appointment, the manager publicly announced in front of the entire waiting room that I had an "outstanding balance." Not only do they have my current health insurance information on file, but I also consistently pay my dues on time. Instead of handling this discrepancy discreetly, the manager proceeded to call billing and my insurance company right there in front of everyone, showing a complete disregard for basic patient privacy and respect. Because of this unnecessary and embarrassing scene, I missed my scheduled chiropractor time slot. I was forced to get my massage first, which is completely out of my normal treatment routine. To make matters worse, when I finished the massage and Dr. Hughes took me back for my adjustment, the manager actually interrupted the session. She walked in and questioned Dr. Hughes about why he was seeing me instead of another patient. Dr. Hughes was forced to explain and defend himself, pointing out that I was bumped from my original time slot specifically because of the insurance delay she had caused at the front desk. Dr. Hughes handled the situation well, but the manager's lack of discretion, terrible scheduling management, and blatant disrespect for both patients and the medical staff make it very difficult to recommend this clinic. Patients deserve privacy and a stress-free environment, neither of which were provided by management during my visit.

Even when he's busy he takes the time to truly listen to your complaints and makes every effort to adjust the trouble areas. The office staff, Hazel and Leah are wonderful and always welcoming! I particularly look forward to a few minutes of the massager with Leah to help relax before my adjustment. Plus she always makes me laugh. I've dealt with a lot of back pain over the years and am not the easiest patient to deal with or adjust when my back is hurting. I called after having to leave work in extreme pain and Hazel got me right in. Dr. Armstrong got me adjusted after a few visits and back to being functional. He has offered many suggestions to assist in finding pain relief with my sore muscles and not every chiropractor wants to take the time or effort for that. My only complaint has been the music in the waiting room being a little louder than what I care for, which is aparently controlled by the other office staff they share a space with. However, its small price to pay to get a much needed adjustment.

If you're in the medical field to HELP PEOPLE. Maybe HELP PEOPLE. There's no need to treat people disrespectfully, especially older people who are in pain.
