My mother's rapidly failing health did give us time to work with Roberts to co-ordinate transfer of her body to Wadsworth from my sister's home in another city, anticipate the church service with a reception at the church afterwards and for the family to write the obituary they wanted published. We were assured that all was in place weeks before my mother's death. BUT --- when the time came --- there was confusion in transporting the body, the church was unaware of the need for a funeral mass, no reception could be organized and the obituary was NOT the one the family had written with much thought and consideration, rather was it was as much fiction as fact --- making errors in her place of birth, names of children and how the grandchildren were to be acknowledged. To top off the disarray --- the website referenced in the published obituary was unable to accept condolencences or messages to the family should anyone try. There was such discrepancy from the organization we had been lead to expect with such advance notice and the lack thereof at such a stressful moment, it is not possible to recommend their services. Hillcrest Memorial Gardens is a beautiful resting site, but use another funeral home.

When my son put the electric bill in his in name for the the condo, he was told to flip the main breaker. It would not fip back and we called our electrician to fix it. He needed to splice wires, it was a simple repair but the bill was $260, for travel, parts time etc. I'm going to bill the insurance company for First In but he also missed a lot of expensive repairs needed. My son was a first time buyer, he is smart but never knew what to look for in his purchase, trusted the realtor (and he is an ok guy but needed to make the sale, my son acted too quickly and I really dislike the unit, others in a similar price range seemed well maintained and updated. He was shown 3, told that was usually the way it is done and never negotiated anything (he's a scientist and pretty much focused on little else, needed a roof over his head and acted too quickly.) So he passed up places that had newer windows, updated kitchens, etc in the same price range . I'm also looking for a condo so I saw those choices but he'd already started the process (he's an adult and I wasn't involved but I have bought real estate before and knew a little bit about what to look for when "investing in a home".) He didn't have a clue and grad student places are what he was used to so here we are. I'm unhappy with the inspection because I immediately saw things that weren't mentioned so here we are. He'll lose money when he sells because it's not worth it for him to update or replace torn screens but it really needs new windows and doors. And flooring. Sigh. He'll live with it until he gets married and sells. Oh well. I'm the one who fixed everything in here so I learned by my mistakes. He'll do the same.

Greenkeepers did a FANTASTIC job landscaping my back yard! The project included building a…read moreflagstone wall, planting trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses. They also mulched all around my house, installed trellises, and planted perennials. George, the owner, was very pleasant to work with and we collaborated on the landscape designs, discussing ideas and options. He also worked with me on keeping expenses within my budget. The crew members were so friendly and hardworking. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and appreciated that they did an excellent job of cleaning up after each work day. The end result was BEAUTIFUL!!! My neighbors really liked the landscaping and are planning to contact Greenkeepers to discuss their own landscape projects. I have already scheduled Greenkeepers to come back this fall to do hardscaping in the front of my house.

They did an excellent job of maneuvering the skid steer to avoid damage. They also trimmed the bottom 4' of 3 pine trees and cleaned out all the scrub plants underneath. I couldn't be happier. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable - I couldn't ask for more. We have other jobs to do in the future and will definitely call Greenkeepers.

They showed up 6 HOURS EARLY to pick up: Scheduled for July 16th afternoon. Driver is outside my house at 10AM and woke me up. I wasn't done. Then they tried to charge me for it: I said "fine, I'll pay the $12/day to keep it longer." Dispatch says nope -- $150 "driving fee" because the driver is already here. So I get punished because THEY came 6 HOURS early?? Did not pay the $150. Got screwed out of time I already paid for. Bottom line: Unreliable, shady billing, zero customer service. If you value your time and money, use a different company or learn the hard way!

Before we knew he lost a very important person in his business. A person who was knowledgeable, kind and honest.I told my sister to use them, she did, and they did not do a good job, they left a mess for a downed tree, and broke her fence. she is still waiting for a call back, some explanation. it's been 2 weeks now, still nothing. All I can say is this, don't use them if you expect the same service as last time. Serious here. you have been warned. My sister is now reporting this incident to the police. Damaged property is a serious matter.

It was a few years ago, but I can't imaging a worse experience than the one we endured with…read moreSchermesser. My father was transferred to them from out of state. He was a dark complected caucasian from working outside most of his life. Also, he always wore a pencil mustache his entire life. Schermesser was given a recent photograph and father's favorite suite. Private family viewing for a few hours one day and general viewing for a longer time the next were the arrangements. We were shocked to find father with a bright pink complexion(picture a lady's powder blush compact) of a new born babe and clean shaven for the 1st time in his adult life. As shocking as that was, on the day of general viewing, before transportation to the cemetery we had to pick several beetles off dad's body and were plagued with flies swarming around the casket for the entire viewing. When we complained we were told insects come in with the flowers and there is nothing that can be done about them. I'm getting old, but I have never seen Pepto Bismo Pink used for make-up, and bugs never joined in the ceremonies.
