They went over and above in so many ways, such as Jonathan emailing me my moms fingerprints when I told him simply in a 30 second passing that I would probably be calling to request them. He also made the most beautiful slide show we not expect. They dotted every "I" and crossed every "T". Aaron reminded me of a comforting priest, so I was not surprised that he originally started out in seminary school. Such a kind and thoughtful man that I felt generally cared about. Jason really helped us make numerous decisions less overwhelming and lightened up the mood a bit, which he could tell was what we needed at that time. They were always available to answer many questions from 3 different family members, often the same repeat questions and were still extremely kind and patient with us. They spent a lot of time on us. I told them I would not be home but I have a house helper that will be there at that time. They told me they would call while on their way to let me know they were en route. However, come to find out, the call while they are on their way was actually to confirm AGAIN, while they are on their way, that someone will be there and that they will NOT stop at the location unless someone confirms a second time. This was not my understanding. I had my phone with me at work and checked it throughout the day. I could not have the ringer on because I work with patients and have to keep in on silent but I do check it throughout the day. I did see ONE phone call with a voicemail and ONE text message, which I had missed. I called back but it was too late ... they said I had to reschedule. I got a call the next day from a lady who apologized but then she just ARGUED with me repeatedly. She insisted that she called multiple times. I double and triple checked my missed call log and voice mails. Indeed, ONE call and ONE voice mail. She continued to argue, saying "I called multiple times. I can show you a screenshot that shows I called multiple times." Ok, you do NOT argue with a customer like that. I later got a text message from her that started with an apology but then delved into defensiveness again. Again, in the text after saying "Sorry," she said "We called a handful of times and got nothing." I responded to her text saying that I would not do business with them and told her to not argue with a customer. I thought that was the end of it. It was not. Incredibly, she then called me back AGAIN (bad idea) to "apologize" but ended up defending herself even more in the same breath. She said "I'm sorry but I did call multiple times." I told her it's not an apology if she immediately says "But" and then just keeps defending herself. I told her that is a disingenuous apology. I told her, I have worked in customer service and have done service recovery, you do not apologize to a customer and then say "But" and then just defend yourself. That is not good customer service. I could not believe this, she defended herself AGAIN after this, saying, "Do I not have the right to defend myself?" And, incredibly, "I won't send it to you, but I did take a screenshot. It shows that I did call multiple times." She just WOULD NOT STOP defending herself. She could not stop. And when I told her AGAIN that she keeps acting defensive she sort of scoffed at me. This is an example of very bad customer service. I will NEVER call this company again and have already told people to not call them.

I discovered that my fridge wasn't cooling a little over a month ago (tho the freezer was still…read moreworking), and am new to living here, so found the name online. I described the issue on the phone, asked if it was worth fixing, they said yes, came out, assessed the job (and I asked again if it was worth fixing to which he said yes) and ordered the part. Returned, put new part in, and even as he was leaving I could tell it wasn't cooling. He said it was, left. Next day, warm, not fixed. Rescheduled, came out again a few days later, said I wasn't shutting the unit properly (i was). He then " discovered something else " that needed fixed. Unit worked for 4 weeks. Found my food spoiled + milk curdled today, again. $350 later. Called + they said " we have to let you know that we are going to charge another $120 to assess unless it is the original issue, blah blah. " I said nevermind + bought another, new fridge from another company for $650. No results, was disappointed to have lost they money.

Just like the one she would look at every weekend when she was in her favorite place. Bag pipes were played and family gathered around for our last goodbye. I'm sure that I will go back and visit and take in the rest of the cemetery.

Everything was set up well for the memorial. I didn't realize that I would be viewing an open casket so I definitely cried alot upon seeing my friend's body but I'm happy that he knew God. What a moron- I knew it was a private service and I wasn't going to crash it as I live 18 hours away. However, the florists need to know where the flowers are to go and without him telling me which, it has turned into a debacle. The flowers did NOT arrive at the funeral. The 1-800 flower agency said the funeral home wouldn't receive the flowers. The funeral home said the florist didn't have the flowers we'd ordered. And after all the bologna, no one (not e 1-800 service, not the funeral jome, not the local florist) has called to let us know that the ball has been dropped. Why in the world the fella at the funeral home wouldn't even let us know what location the funeral would take place is beyond me. He was a dark complected caucasian from working outside most of his life. Also, he always wore a pencil mustache his entire life. Schermesser was given a recent photograph and father's favorite suite. Private family viewing for a few hours one day and general viewing for a longer time the next were the arrangements. We were shocked to find father with a bright pink complexion(picture a lady's powder blush compact) of a new born babe and clean shaven for the 1st time in his adult life. As shocking as that was, on the day of general viewing, before transportation to the cemetery we had to pick several beetles off dad's body and were plagued with flies swarming around the casket for the entire viewing. When we complained we were told insects come in with the flowers and there is nothing that can be done about them. I'm getting old, but I have never seen Pepto Bismo Pink used for make-up, and bugs never joined in the ceremonies.

After finding out that my grandparents headstone had been broken and knocked down, and that my grandmothers year of passing was never put on (although it had been 39 years ago), I wanted to have it standing and the date added. I had no clue who to contact, and my sister, who lives in Alliance, had experience with them and highly recommend we go through them. The ground was too wet for them to go out initially, but Mr. Hilles would go out to the cemetery and check on it and keep me updated. Once it was dry enough, not only did they remount it and fill in the base around, they got it engraved to match identically with what was engraved originally in 1969... and if that wasn't enough, they cleaned the headstone to look almost new and trimmed all of the dead branches out of the flower bush planted next to it! I really was so overwhelmed and appreciative of their genuine care and going above and beyond what I paid for them to do.... which by the way, I felt the pricing was extremely fair and reasonable too. Turns out, Mr. Hilles and my dad went to school together! What a small world! Our whole family was so grateful for the professional and outstanding service and results that we were provided.
