However, the quote that we received upfront for our tax preparation was considerably higher than what our actual invoice ended up being. While I'm happy that they adjusted the invoice, the communication from their office left a lot to be desired. I received an email to tell me that we were missing signatures on our e-doc returns when I had already emailed to confirm that everything was ready to go and to be filed. At the same time they told me that my taxes were not filed because I had not paid the invoice which was sent to me 16 hours ago. At no time that I know that the invoice needed to be paid upon an email receipt. I went directly to the office to pay the invoice on the spot and no one could tell me what signatures were missing.
