Dr Pellant has been my family's primary care provider for 10 years. We first selected her out of convenience to our home. We moved across town to follow her because she is that great. When we have those unexpected needs for her care or that of the other staff, they always find a way to squeeze us in. She, her nurse Allia, have gotten to know each member of my family and are able to converse with us about more than what's written on our charts. We love them. I've gone to Gridiron for two different surgery recoveries. I first learned of Eric Tamura through…read moremy personal trainer, and then learned that he and Gridiron were also heartily approved by my surgeon. Thanks to Eric and team (he always seems to have excellent interns, and the other DPT Cameron is awesome too), I came through my first recovery so well that the surgeon remarked on it. Five years later, I am now rehabbing from RC surgery and again, the surgical team are well-pleased with my recovery. This is because of Gridiron PT. Eric is incredibly knowledgeable, and his practice combines a strong education and nearly two decades of hands-on experience with a wide variety of conditions. This first-hand experience sets him apart. (I've seen everyone from top level athletes, to "regular folk" with aches/pains, to nonagenarians (yes!) living their best lives at Gridiron.) I ask questions about EVERYthing, and Eric patiently explains the anatomy/mechanics in digestible language, and most important, he covers the why's and how's. I actually take notes. Eric's manner is professional, yet warm and friendly enough to allow you to physically relax--essential for getting the most benefit from sessions. He also has an encouraging, positive presence, and that helps when you're feeling plateaued. I agree with other reviewers--Eric has an excellent sense of "patient touch," and is also very gentle--this is HUGE, especially post-surgery!! He is able to do way more than I can myself, and that is what this is about. I am confident and comfortable enough in his manipulation to let this happen, and thus progress much more than working on my own. Also, in the recovery process, one only sees the surgeon just few times in the long months post-surgery. With Gridiron, I can have more frequent, professional assessments of how much I can do, how much I should do, and what I should NOT do. (I am always directed to the surgical team members, if my questions are best answered by them. And likewise, the surgeon has told me to ask Eric on many issues. Absolutely necessary to have both.) Equally important is getting "homework" to do on my own. Eric goes through what to do, why we are doing it, and also how to set it up at home (!!) Terrific! This is important in my continuing to improve, and protect, my shoulder, going forward. Hugely important in the experience, the Gridiron front office staff are fantastic. Christine, Liberty, and Amber are always available in-person, and unfailingly super helpful, no matter the questions. Even when insurance is sometimes a puzzle (coverage is a parallel universe!) Christine and team are happy to have questions reviewed/explained. They work miracles with scheduling (and re-!) and always with a smile. This team is refreshing, in a medical world where provider vs. front-of-house don't always function to the same levels. I am planning to continue with periodic sessions at Gridiron. Their evaluations, advice, and the actual, physical work, are among the best long term investments I can make.

I would NEVER WVER recommend this doctors office to anyone. My husband saw dr shane leavitt who…read moreaccused him of abusing his medication when the reality was that he never abused it he took less than recommended and also had constant issues with getting prescriptions sent to the pharmacy at all. He said it was suspicious that we had to call the office multiple times to have prescriptions sent over after they said it was over TEN TIMES. Then when his PA Dillon advised my husband to up his dose from a 5mg to a 10mg every 4-6 hours they consistently sent the prescription in wrong and only for 5mg. They distinctly made him appear as a drug seeker when he started off saying he didn't want to take the meds at all, then when they recasted him at 4 weeks as planned the doctor said there was 15 prescription sent over and that this would be my husbands final refill and taper down of opiates which we we're completely excited about! We'll two hours later we call the pharmacy and shocker no script sent. We call the doctors office and get a call back from dr leavitt himself saying we had picked up all 15 scripts. Not true at all it was 4 which was exactly what he had prescribed and exactly on time each time never early. Then he discontinued treatment and threatened my husband with being redlined at the pharmacy, I spoke with the pharmacist who knows us very well and recommended reporting him to the board of medicine. Which will be done tomorrow first thing! Oh best part! When he discontinued medication treatment he also refused further treatment for his broken hand/arm. So he left my husband with broken bones and a cast with no doctor for treatment. He also refused to set my husband up with a new doctor or recommend a new doctor for him. He's an awful person. And doctor. Even threatened to punch my husband while putting the cast on. Don't ever let him touch or treat your body he discriminates against people of color and people with tattoos and piercings as well. If I could say anything to Dr. Leavitt communicate with your PA and if you're unable to do that, don't be a doctor. Obviously, your PA is more educated than you are.

My everyday pain was a 9 to a 10. I had an injury to my back in 2012. So I've been dealing with that pain since. Then a couple years ago my right hip started having problems that left me with hardly any mobility. My right hip pain trumped my back pain. I ended up seeing Dr Holley and like I said, he gave me my life back and got me mobile. I still have back issues, but are unrelated to the hip. I will never go anywhere else! It's locally run and they truly care about their patients! Jamie takes his time to evaluate your injury and the cause and effect. I came in with what I thought was a hip injury. Come to find out it was all stemming from my back. They took their time to teach me how to run again to take the pressure off my back.
