Small Chinese buffet just a few blocks off campus. This place has been around for a long time. Its okay for the price at least. Its far enough away from campus though its never crowded from what I've seen. Judging by the inside, I doubt this place has changed any in years. Bathrooms should be avoided here though. Beef and broccoli was probably some of the best I have ever had. Order it with white rice, the fried rice is pretty gross (we ordered both with our meal). Huge portion in the large plate. Very equal amount of beef to broccoli, not mostly broccoli like other places. Ordered curry chicken for my hubby, again a large portion that was slightly spicy and tasty(I am not a huge fan of curry chicken but this wasn't terrible). Kids loved the sesame chicken. Both ate lots, which isn't always the case with Chinese food. The longest part of the transaction was waiting for the gentleman to take my order due to the numerous phone orders he had. Ordered my food and it was super fast, like 5 -10 minutes of waiting. Not long at all. *insert hand claps here* this was for sure worth the money, except for the fried rice. I gave them 5 chances to deliver edible food, I was a big fan 20 years ago when I was in college, so I thought maybe it was just bad luck. It wasn't. They are awful. Ordered via delivery: Lemon Chicken, steamed dumplings, and hot and sour soup. The chicken was not good at all. It was lukewarm when I got it, understandable as it was so cold, but it was very chewy and bland. Had no real flavor to speak of, it was supplied with a container of Lemon Sauce that was only about 1/4 the way full. The sauce tasted like something you'd get from a school lunch cafeteria: bland, insipid and had no flavor, wasn't enough to go on the chicken. The fried rice that came with the chicken was decent but nothing special, wasn't the freshest. The steamed dumplings were so-so, but seemed unusually cold compared to the other food. I went ahead and microwaved them to reduce the risk of possible food poisoning. The hot and sour soup was fine, it was the main course that was a big disappointment. VERY bland, I might as well have been eating Lemon Tofu. Overall, this place is not as good as some of the other Chinese restaurant in Manhattan. There is a better one not far from this establishment, and I suggest you seek that one out instead. read more

I open it up, finally ready to eat, and I had sweet and sour chicken....with no sweet and sour sauce. Or egg roll. Not what I ordered, I called back. No refund. But I had to give the sweet and sour back. Took an additional 30 minutes to get the correct order. An hour and a half later, completely disappointment. A small Chinese buffet located in Aggieville. The food is alright, and the restaurant is fairly small. It is a fairly popular spot for K-State students. They make deliveries if you call ahead. There are not many Chinese restaurants in Manhattan, so you can't be too picky. As a young broke college kid, this place was great! I often ordered delivery on Sunday evenings when the dining hall was closed. The food was always hot and delivery was crazy fast. I recently stopped here with a couple of friends after a night of drinking in Aggieville. The long line of obnoxiously loud frat boys made it obvious that we weren't the only ones with the same idea. The restaurant is small and bare, it seemed as if every sound was amplified by 20 (this could also be my intoxicated brain). We waited in line for over 20 mins until it was our turn to place our order, then another 15 to receive our food. Now, I understand that with a rush of drunks things are going to take a bit longer; but it seemed as if they were working with limited staff. The portions are huge! I believe I shared and entree with my friend on this visit. However, I was barely able to eat my way through the chewy low quality 'chicken'. The Crab Rangoon is decent but nothing to write home about. Overall, this place is decent but I will avoid meat dishes from now on. I ordered over 40 dollars worth of food from this place. Brought it home to my family and it was HORRIBLE tasting. The beef teriyaki had no sauce on it and didn't even taste REMOTELY like anything teriyaki. The egg rolls tasted old and that it was fried in burnt oil. Crab Rangoon was crispy but the filling had zero flavor. The rice was meh and the lo mein was like spaghetti. I hope all of Kansas doesn't have this kind of Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken I hd at Hunam was not only the worst Chinese I've ever eaten, but the worst food I've ever been served at any restaurant. The "chicken" was rock hard breading and the fucking things were 80% hollow! The 20% that wasn't hollow was super tough, flavorless meat. And the rice had a funk to it. This is a very good place to get Chinese food at a very descent price. There facilities are somewhat unclean, and have a small buffet. But order out and you will get more than what you paid for. The food is really good, General Tso's, Sesame Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein are the best. It does take them some time to deliver, but the wait is worth it. read more

I ordered food for delivery at my office, which is near the restaurant. We incorrectly received 2 Kung Pao Chickens. When I called to get the Cashew Chicken that was supposed to be in the order, I was told that Kung Pao Chicken was the same as Cashew Chicken. The man on the phone said he would send out the cashews but not with the chicken. I asked for the Cashew Chicken to be made again and delivered since I did not want peanuts and I had ordered Cashew Chicken--not Kung Pao. He rudely refused to make the entree.
