It was pretty crowded, but the folks behind the bar were doing a great job of getting everyone served. We waited about an hour for our pizza, but we were okay with that. We shopped the little market and took pictures of the beautiful flowers. If you're staying in Petoskey or Harbor Springs, it's worth the pretty drive.

Appointments necessary, and this is key because the small-group approach makes a big difference. They limit visits to 12 people at a time to maintain the joy and connection with the animals- and there is an abundance of both! Guests are able to feed and pet all the animals on the farm- which include turkeys, chickens, alpacas, goats (so many adorable and very playful baby goats!), sheep, yak, donkeys and horses. We were SHOCKED at how many trees there were. We kept thinking we made it to the end of the trees, just to realize there were acres more! The tree farm also offers free hot coco and cookies, which were a nice touch! We will be back next year!

The family who runs the farm is very friendly and helpful, showing us all of the pre-cut trees in the front lot and also showing us the "u-pick" portion of the farm in the back. There were TONS of trees in the back of the farm--you would never know from the parking lot! What an awesome memory to make with your family. There were free saws that you could borrow to cut down your own tree and they also offered to wrap it and haul it to your car for you! After getting your tree, there is a nice heated barn with complimentary hot cocoa, cookies, and other treats for purchase! Lots of farm animals too for the little ones to pet. We definitely enjoyed our time here and will be back next year!
