A great find on Yelp! I'm visiting Australia and had a craving for Filipino food. This place didn't…read moredisappoint. The Dinuguan (black pork belly pudding) dish was really really good! Very authentic and delicious. Note that this is traditional dish and might not be advisable for first timers trying Filipino cuisine. We also ordered Kaldereta (beef stew) as well as some pork spare ribs. The ribs were really good but the Kaldereta was not as flavorful as I was expecting. And lastly for dessert...their Halo-halo (shaved ice) was really a treat! The portion is enough to share with someone. Overall a nice little place to get your fix when craving for some really good Filipino food.

I went here recently after driving past it one day. So happy to find a Filipino restaurant!…read more Decor - Not flashy. But it was comfortable and reminded me of some restaurants in the Philippines. Wooden tables and benches, fairy lights and I think even tinsel still floating around (how festive!). Enjoyed the soy sauce & vinegar bottle they had on the table. There are also random frames on the walls with amusing quotes. Service - The one waiter that served us was very nice and helpful. Everyone seemed really friendly and welcoming. Food - We had dinuguan/pork blood stew (yum, but i wanted it a bit more sour - yay for vinegar on the table), sisig/sizzling offal or pork parts (didn't taste like the ones I've had in the Philippines but still pretty good) and lechon paksiw (pig stew; which was also lacking in the sourness and sweetness I'm more used to). For dessert, we had leche flan but it was a bit too firm and didn't have a very caramelised flavour and halo-halo, which was yum. Can't go wrong with halo-halo (it's shaved ice with jellies, sweet beans, leche flan, ice cream and evaporated milk). Would I go back? OF COURSE. As much as I didn't think the flavours were as authentic as it should be (this is just based on my own tastebuds and personally experienced), I'll gladly return to try other dishes.
