I grew up near here. They've always kept a great selection of anything and everything you could…read moreneed. They have really exceptional wings. They're quite large. Also if your child loves "school pizza" & "school style donuts", they sell them here at a reasonable rate. In fact, I find that most things here are affordable. Plus their open 24 hrs, and they provide a safe secure place to shop, so you don't have to necessarily go all the way to the super centers.

Most of the people who work there are some of the nicest people I've met. I usually stop in to grab the cheese pizza pretzels, the cereal marshmallows, and something from the chocolate aisle. My friend who usually goes with me loves their hot cheese cups and the sauces they have to offer. The dip mixes are great too and the baked goods on the rack towards the back are tasty! Sometimes the prices are a little higher on some things but it's a very clean store and just fun to visit.

I will tell you that one of the most impressive things about Old Thyme Pantry is that it has an extensive candy section... two aisles worth. Moreover, the candy isn't the factory made stuff... that said the candy can be a little hit or miss. My mother did not like the sugar wafers for instance and i disliked the sea salt fudge. Yet at the same time, the orange slices were very good and the chocolate covered raisins were to die for (def better than Raisinettes!). The store also sells soup mixes, local honey, jams, jelly's and fresh meat. They also have a Deli. I bought some Deli items and again hit or miss... some of the items i didn't like but their was this chicken one that was delish. Cool store, one that looks to be owned by mennonite/amish? Definitely would be willing to give it a second try in the future... and one you should try as well.
