The employees here are seemingly exceptional and beyond in their customer service. (Shay, Bailey, annndddd Lexi?) Every time I have been there, Ive had a good/exceptional experience, that follows with quality glass/product purchases. I choose to visit this smoke shop more often BECAUSE of the kindness of the employees. When i have really been out of budget, they've knocked off a few dollars which is really cool(HOWEVER, it is NOT expected) Im a regular though. So I believe see a perk in that relationship. A great shop. Seems to be run by someone(s) that know what theyre doing. Hooray!!!!!! As a smoke shop, their wide variety of knick-knacks just might speak volumes. Sign on the door says up front: All Sales Are Final. I have no problem with that. That said, making a choice you are ready to live with may take you a while. Inside that door the selection is absolutely overwhelming. I have never seen so much glass in one store. The employees are attentive but not at all pushy, deftly handling lots of "whoaaaaaaaaa duuuuuuuude!" looky-loos and cannabis tourists while answering questions and watching for shrinkage. I went in looking for a flower vaporizer, and they had many many choices, but I left with a sweet, heavy clear glass bong and a big matching bowl for a third the price. They have ALL the choices; this time I went low-tech and am hugely enjoying the old-school product. I will absolutely be back. read more

This shop has a nice variety of "glass ware" as well as smokes. All that you would need if you are an avid zig zag user:) Nice selection of cigars, cigarettes (including my fave brand of cloves) and wares to enhance your smoking pleasure. I would not recommend going here. I bought a bong here for $90. After using it for the first time I realized something was wrong. When I went back to ask what was happening I was told I was given a faulty down stem. The employee I spoke too said that he didn't think I would notice because he didn't think I smoked that much. Scary how this place can scam you based of their first impression of you. Do not recommend especially for new smokers. read more

Super dope staff! Also love Midtown, but Hunky Dory's is pretty legit. They have a huge selection of product, definitely one of the largest in the area, albeit a bit expensive given some of their products. The staff is super warm and friendly! The girls are nice, it's fun to go in there. If you are looking for glass, it's definitely worth checking out. The tobacco shop is pretty awesome, but again, some pricing is ridiculous. They had a bottle of dokha (Middle Eastern tobacco) for over $80! It's was insane! I've lived in Dubai and never paid that much. Other then a few offly-priced products, though, it's a comforting atmosphere and a cool shop to check-out. The owner could do better with advertising and cleaning the surrounding place up, but it's legit. read more

All the staff are rude and treat customers like their the sucm on the bottom of their shoe I don't recommend this shop ... there's better smoke shops to take your cash somewhere else if you don't want to be disrespect . they don't pay attention to when you ask for vape juice I asked for watermelon tafy and they gave me blue dream I didn't realize till I open it and the blue dream is nasty . i use this cbd vape juice to keep my sezuries away... when I called to tell them that they sold me the wrong flavor the guy on the phone said cheers to me having more sezuries because this blue dream is nasty to the point i can't vape it. read more

This pipe store has a ton of glass pieces for you to browse. I came in here to buy a gift but I didn't really find any pieces that seemed like a good fit. They did have a lot of large and small pieces to choose from. The woman working was friendly and answered some questions for me. The parking here is horrible, I don't know if they even have their own lot which makes it difficult because it's right in 7th street. The lot we pulled into said no parking so we had to park somewhere else. Also, the incense was so strong in there that I couldn't stay for very long. I like the smell of incense but it was super overpowering. I saw a sign that says they are opening a dispensary soon. read more

I was a customer and they towed my car from their massive empty parking lots. They didn't have "no parking" signs up where I parked because of "construction" and towed me anyway (a violation of SB 117 against predatory towing) when I told them what happened and that the tow cost was $550 they laughed in my face. I eventually gave up waiting for the end of a lengthy personal conversation between staff and some of their friends hanging out in the store and asked the clerks for help (since no help had been offered). With obvious reluctance, one of the young ladies tore herself away from her chat and proceeded to ''help'' me by telling me I was ignorant about what I wanted to buy. Since I've been using the item I was looking for since about 1968 (about 30 years before the clerk was even born), I can't say I appreciated her comments. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this store. The staff there clearly pick and choose which customers to treat with civility and which customers to treat like unwanted visitors :( Too bad, because they have a really nice selection of supplies.) read more

Instead of trying to sell to me, she handed me the pipes without giving me any sort of sales pitch. I like being sold to, so this could be my own issue. I don't shop here often enough to remember employees from one trip to the next, but I'm continually AMAZED at the GREAT one on one service I get when I shop here. I almost ALWAYS need directions to locate what I'm needing, & then I need further service to complete my purchase. I ALWAYS leave in a brighter mood when I leave simply because the staff are so NICE & HELPFUL! Prices are fair, selection is GREAT.... This place is darn cool. Do not buy anything from this place since they do not have a return policy. I bought a vaporizer that came with instructions which do not match the product. So I found instructions online. It's the easy vap digital. What a piece of crap for $90.00. Does not work, waiting over 10 minutes for it to heat up and still does not get hot enough at any setting, tried 250, 300, 375 and 400 degrees. Hunky Dory says they have a no return or exchange policy. So I am just screwed, I have to send it in to the manufacturer to get it repaired. They have an awesome selection, with a wide range of prices. Only downside is they did not warn me not to soak my acrylic water pipe in rubbing alcohol. However it was cheap enough to just replace it, that I went back and bought another one from them, with the proper cleaner this time. I did not really consider going anywhere else. I was able to get both the new acrylic water pipe, and the cleaner for about $30 total. Not a bad deal. read more

They have a great assortment of things ranging from tarot cards, incense, clothing, pewter fantasy nick knacks, essential oils, Freak Brothers Comics and of course smoking accessories. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. Many of their prices are competitive and sometimes cheaper than purchasing through the Internet. I really generallly enjoy the atmostphere and history of this small smoke shop in Eugene. I have been a patron since i needed to purchase my first piece and have always been pleased with the work. I will however reccommend a good attitude and maybe even some new employees. We went there and bought a pipe and tobacco for my boyfriend. Well within 2 1/2 weeks the mouth piece broke. Yesterday we were back up there in town and went in to see what they would do to help us with the problem, as it is totally unusable. We had the pipe with us, and showed them what had happened. Asked for a replacement and was told no, because it wasn't new.......hmmm, what? After haggling a bit with the gal she finally offered us 10% off of another new one. Mind you we had bought lots of pipe tobacco and several crystals when we bought the pipe. So on this note they do not stand behind their merchandise and we will not shop there again. Don't give a lot of 5-star reviews, but feel this is warranted. First of all (regardless of what you might have heard) the prices at hunky are very reasonable and better than most in town (especially when it comes to tobacco stuff as I can't attest to the head gear). To get down to it let's say this place has a killer inventory, super up-beat friendly knowledgeable employees, good prices, and is conveniently located. I've been here a few times over the years and have always had a pleasant experience. It's no wonder hunkys has been in business for so long. i purchased a high dollar item that they say came with a year long warranty. just get ahold of the company they said. the item in question quit working after less than a week. when i called they just told me to contact the company. the company, grencoscience.com makers of the crappy micro-g vapor pens, just put me on automated hell when i called which ended up in being put on hold. after 30 min i just hung up. multiple calls and the same results. i e-mailed every contact i could find on the web site including the warranty one. alas, no response. when i re-called hunky dory they just gave me the run around and offered no help. not good. read more

classic 1970's style head shop, lots of glass too. so much so i asked if i could take a picture deciding at home to buy the one i like most. nope, it's the the glass blowers wish that it's not cool to take a picture. the clerk says they believe their work would be copied. if it's such an art, where's the maker mark? therefore, the glass pipe blowers union can go jump in a lake. a plain one is 5$ at HD. Lazarre's sells same for 2$ they have a ton of cigars too- but no cubans. why not carry them? they're already in violation of federal law selling drug paraphernalia, may as well go the extra mile. they have clove cigs again too, after we all had to quit. yep Djarum Red's. but why start an old habit after getting completely cut off the last time? i blame hunky dory certainly- it's called lobbying. on a positive note they hire lots of good looking girls working the counter, nothing wrong with that. read more

I have gone into this show 2 times. Both times I was treated like a dumb woman. It took me way too long to get any help and even when she reluctantly asked me what I wanted it was a simple point and back to her friends. Lame. If this store could hire some nice people it would be a terrific place to shop. I prefer the place across town that greets you with a smile when you walk in and always has friendly help available. This place does have a great selection however. Too bad only mean girls work there. I will never shop here again....and my friend group agrees. It's Midtown for our smoking needs. read more
