I was promptly greeted and seated by the friendly host right as they opened at 5 p.m. Our waitress was welcoming and took our appetizer order right after our drinks. We were debating between the mozzarella sticks and calamari, and she recommended the trio, which included both, plus fried zucchini - a great suggestion! Soon after our appetizer arrived, the owner and chef came to our table to introduce himself and check on our food. It was a nice, personal touch that you don't see very often. While the service was a little on the slower side, it was clear that the small but mighty staff was attentive and making their rounds to all the tables. For our main course, we ordered the chicken parmesan, which was a generous portion, easily shareable for two, and came with a side salad. It was yummy. This restaurant has a certain charm with its combination of Southern hospitality and Italian cuisine. I would recommend it based on my experience.
