If there are any issue with the closing, they tend to side with the attorney on the other end. Because if they side with you, they will need to do work (which they dont want to). Both Alan and Philip, are very bullish in nature. They claim they have been doing this for 35yrs, hence they 'know it all', and will ignore your issue/concerns. They ended up messing up my case, and then they wanted me to pay them litigation fees. I ended up taking the case to small claims court without their support. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THEM !!

As the defendant's attorney, Ms. Willitts decided on her own to create the divorce document (charging me), she appears to have accepted a bribe from the other attorney to blow the case. Ms. Willitts created a 2 inch thick [EXPENSIVE] divorce decree hiding a plethora of penalties and extra payments. Including a $50k cash bribe paid to the claimant to "release custody rights" that Ms. Willitts "negotiated & claimed was typical". We already had the custody agreement IN PLACE! [the $50k bribe requirement came later.]. By the time Ms. Willitts was done, she had tricked me out of everything I own, leaving me in debt (versus the original split of ~$300k to each party). Loss: -100% house equity. 85% of my personal premarital retirement account. All my personal stock accounts & bank accounts. My vehicle. My right to work. Ms. Willitts handling of the case forced me to take a loan for $50k to pay the bribe after everything else was secretly given away. Ms. Willitts appears to have intentionally destroyed my life to improve her own. Run.

We googled the client's name and called him up to ask him what he thought of them before we hired them. The former client immediately and strongly responded "They are the best and no one is better!" Based on that call, we hired Yudes and his team and we are so glad we did. We only wished we had found them earlier before we hired two other family law attorneys and firms in NJ who were no where near as good as these guys. We are both (non-family law) NYC corporate attorneys who can appreciate good lawyering and these guys are top flight! Their command of the law, and their ability to understand and weave the facts of our case with the law to create clear, concise legal arguments, is stellar. We were in awe of their legal drafting and their oral argument skills. The very experienced head judge Yudes argued before for our case was hanging on every word Yudes said and appeared to agree with every legal point Yudes made. It doesn't get any better. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth it! We previously hired two other NJ firms who also were expensive and were supposed to be good, but they weren't even close to being as good as these guys are and they each made mistakes and missed things that cost us more money in legal fees down the road.
