Do you need someone to help you navigate the tangled highways of Texas' arcane and hyperlocal legal system? If I did, Hunter would be the only person I'd recommend. I followed Hunter personally through two workdays throughout the greater Dallas area, and for certain learned one thing: it's a jungle in those courthouses. Some counties have 2 courthouses - what if you show up at the wrong one? There's multiple overlapping jurisdictions everywhere (City of Dallas sits inside multiple counties, etc), creating legal nuances that no beginner would figure out without extensive research. In response to Hunter's attempt to deflect on the situation that compelled me to write this review, my response is as follows. Exactly what would be expected from a firm such as yours. I'm sure that if you thought my review was "slanderous" & as you stated, would be taking me to task in a court of law. I can recommend an excellent attorney if need be & one that I partnered with on my specific case at a fraction of what your firm was attempting to charge... Would be glad to refer him to you, however I'm not sure he would take your case based on his opinion of your firm... I tried to be fair in my assessment & review of your firm that is why I stated that I had never met you & was only speaking with regards to your associates but your comments & your attempts to discredit me only substantiate what type of business & firm that you operate. Instead of taking the feedback & reflecting on the perception or reality of the comments & situation & in typical egomaniac fashion, you attempt to discredit my review with inaccurate claims & distort the facts. Surely even you are aware of how our legal system works & regardless of the charges every defendant is allowed "due process". With that in mind, any & all charges were dropped & I am more than happy to discuss with anybody the specifics or merit of the circumstances surrounding why I came to your firm in the fist place or I wouldn't have been so open in the first place with my review of my experience of your firm. I do believe it takes two parties to come to an agreement before said parties decide to do business with each other or in this case, decide to act as Attorney & Client. I guess the arrogance of your firm combined with the fact that I had a pending legal issue, that you would just assume because I walked into your office that I was obligated to hire you & that I would just accept your Partners condescending attitude. The truth is that they were upset & taken aback as a result of me "daring" to ask how you arrived at your fee & that I had the audacity to ask for a more detailed explanation. Your Partners, although not telling me they could 100% get my case resolved did say that they were confident they could win & based on their great relationships they had with the Collin County DA's office as well as being former Assistant DA's themselves & that they were confident that all charges would be dismissed & very contrary to your statement had no issues with the facts surrounding the charges, which once again were all dropped. Interesting how you fail to mention this as part of your diatribe when you obviously went to great lengths to get more details on the situation & are aware that this was the case. With regards to hiding behind a computer I would be more than happy to meet with you in person or anyone else with your firm, however I would expect that it would not be something that you would take me up on based on your unprofessional & childish tactics, including this response. My review is substantiated even more so by your response & I would think that the general public & any potential client would probably agree. I also find it interesting how you don't have any recent positive reviews on Yelp in almost 1.5 years. Maybe you should think about not being on "Social Media" if you can't take "Social Media" feedback & childishly lashing out while blaming both Yelp & myself for your Firms professional ineptitude.. I was treated very rudely by an arrogant attorney who didn't want to have a consultation. He wanted to get money and that's it. I believe having any questions or wanting to find out how this firm would handle a certain case before handing over thousands of dollars is an insult to them. No worries.
