If you are considering hiring this attorney for a criminal defense case, I encourage you to do…read moreextensive research and speak with multiple former clients before making your decision. As an outside observer, I watched a family spend approximately $2,000 expecting communication, advocacy, and guidance during a serious criminal matter. Instead, they encountered repeated communication problems, poor professionalism, and a lack of confidence that the client's interests were being prioritized. The client was incarcerated and was told he could contact his attorney whenever needed. According to the family, calls frequently went unanswered and requests for communication were often ignored. Multiple requests were made for the attorney to visit the client in jail. One explanation reportedly given was that he did not want to come to the jail and wait an hour to meet with the client because it "wasn't worth it." For a family paying for legal representation, that statement alone was deeply concerning. The client wanted to pursue a bond reduction and release. A bond hearing was canceled, and later requests to revisit the issue were reportedly declined. The family was left confused and frustrated about why opportunities that were important to the client were not being pursued. There were also concerns about major case decisions being made without proper communication. Hearings were reportedly changed without notice, and a trial date was scheduled despite the client's desire to explore alternatives before proceeding to trial. What stood out most was the attorney's treatment of the family. During phone conversations, family members were reportedly yelled at, spoken to with profanity, told that the client was going to jail and that there was nothing that could be done, and had calls abruptly ended. Regardless of the facts of any case, clients and their families deserve professionalism, respect, and honest communication. The family ultimately terminated the representation and hired new counsel because they had completely lost confidence in the attorney-client relationship. Based on what I personally observed throughout this situation, I would not trust this attorney with the defense of a friend or family member facing serious criminal charges.

I hired Dylan Davis to represent me in JP court. Unfortunately, he arrived late to the hearing and…read moredid not appear fully prepared. The case materials were not organized, and I ended up presenting all of the supporting documentation myself. After the unfavorable ruling, I raised concerns about the level of preparation and asked about next steps. I was initially told he would not be moving forward with the matter. When I requested a refund of the $500 fee due to concerns about the representation, the response I received included statements such as "Go for it" and "Not going to be extorted for fees." While I understand that outcomes cannot be guaranteed, professionalism, preparation, and communication matter. Based on my experience, I would have expected a higher standard of representation.

We were completely lost as to whom to hire for my son's DWI case. However, after searching, we came…read moreacross Texas Defense Firm McKinney and decided to schedule a consultation. This was the best choice we ever made, and we looked no further. Our case was defended by Ryan King, who is truly a personal counsel who meticulously cares about your case. He worked tirelessly and combed through everything. He can literally find a needle in a haystack--which is exactly what he did for my son's case. My family and I are truly and deeply grateful for Mr. King's honest counsel and representation. We were earnestly praying for the best outcome, and Mr. King delivered a NOT GUILTY verdict! We are so thankful for his outstanding counsel. THANK YOU!!!

Please consider other options before going with this one. we…read morereached out due to a CPS report which would have gotten settled without a lawyer however due to the accusations we wanted a legal professional opinion just to be safe. First they state a free consultation in which we found is the only way that is true is if you have actually been arrested otherwise you pay so we had to pay 500.00 to the criminal lawyer whose name is Reynie Tinajero ( in which he was very friendly ) But his information we pretty much already knew because again we knew we were only there so we could be educated on our legal rights . Fast forward to the end of the consultation he suggested we consult to the CPS attorney which name is Alyce Ferguson for a 30 minute consultation will cost us 250.00 and it's not even a in person consultation it was an over the phone consultation so she states from point A to point B it will be cleared up for 1,500 because her fee is 500.00 a hour so instead of us paying as we go she says it has to be paid all at once . So again, we pay it this was all done in 1 day which was on a Monday June 2.2025 to be exact so by this point within 1 hour and 30 minutes we have offically paid 2,250 that was not expected at all. Tuesday June 3rd, we agree to meet this is where it takes a turn for the worse she is 10 minutes late she stays maybe 40 minutes and leaves as she is leaving CPS calls, and we agree to meet on Friday June 7 she states we will touch base Wednesday, we exchange text that morning and that's all Thursday morning a few more text at this point I tell her i need to actually speak with you because you were hired to give me peace of mind and you have me feeling as if I am a criminal so she states she's in court all day so that's fine just when you are available so she calls 20 minutes later and all is well Friday comes she shows up at 1:00 our meeting is 1:30 with CPS so that's great but we literally are just sitting here while she is on the phone with another client apologizing to them about something and using words like prison and so on that we do not even use in front of our children (totally unprofessional) while she's stating she has another appointment to get to so CPS comes all is well 15 minutes later during the visit she gets up and states she has to get to her next appointment so can we call her and have it on speaker so sure of course well little did we know while on speaker the phone hangs up. At this point although our meeting is going well i didn't want to make the wrong move so i call her back-to-back and get nothing but a voicemail and a text 2 minutes later saying i will touch base all is well and thats it now of course the sweet CPS lady gave us all the good news we needed but this lawyer failed us even though we knew it was going to be a closed case she made us more nervous like how things can get twisted and all the above. I usually would not leave a review like this however in this case its necessary because CPS can be serious and be scary but what if a family is less fortunate and actually don't have the money to pay or have to borrow or etc. All I'm saying is do your research first please. although each individual was very nice this just was not right, we are still out of 500.00 because she literally never spent more than a total 2 hours with us. And last but not least we did actually hear back from her saying she was in a car accident that's why the call failed smh God Bless you all and i hope this helps you if you are ever in this situation

Get used to waiting on him and getting no responses at all if you make the horrendous decision of hiring him. Does not fight for you and is only looking to extort you for your funds while doing no work for you. Huge waste of money. Many times my case was pointlessly reset for his own personal reasons, whether that's leaving you in the courtroom so he can go to his son's band concert, or go practice some martial arts. It is actually a joke the "services" this lawyer will provide. While you are facing the hardest time in your life in the court room he will not explain the process and instead tell you "he has to speed this up so he can make it to a personal event". His clients are not his priority. Getting paid is. If it is your first time in the criminal justice system like it was for me, stay far away from this man. He will look at you as just another statistic. I'm sure he'll take this review down soon instead of replying to it, as he knows I'm not lying and he would like to continue making money while doing little to no work. He is exactly the lawyer that perpetuates the archetype of the selfish lawyer.
