He cut a hole and cleaned it out, then patched the hole with screws that can be taken out next time we need them cleaned in 7 or 8 years. We could not be happier. He said the vents that were cleaned 4 or 5 years ago were pretty clean, the problem was in the blocked vents. Because Park County Wyoming is limited in contractors so they jacked up prices to make cash. Tech got my wife, who didn't know any better, to sign off on work that was way overpriced. $450 dollars for 20 minutes of work and 20 minutes of the tech trying to get us to spend more $$$$. Cleaning service we didn't need, replace brand new filters and on and on. I worked as an HVAC helper and helped with these issues and KNOW it's BS. They wanted $110 to clean the condenser, this can be done in 5 min with a leaf blower from inside out. $100+ for furnace maint? 5 min of vacuuming and 2 min to clean a flame sensor with a dollar bill. Replace air filters? Any hardware store has them, doesn't matter if it's by the furnace or in rooms. Takes minutes to complete. You can get more out of YouTube than what these people will make you pay. I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't let them cheat you for OVERPRICED parts and unnecessary services.
