We loved our first service for help so much that we signed up for a maintenance plan to check our…read moresystem every six months and canceled out previous serviced with another company. We purchased our new air conditioner unit for outside from them and they again were great to work with! Our second call was to check a leak in the wall behind the shower. It wasn't a good experience. The tech seemed a bit full of himself. That cost $99 and the tech told us we needed to tear out the whole shower to stop the leak. A second opinion proved it to be a simple leak down a water pipe and I fixed that on my own. Next service we were told that a cleaning of our duct system was needed. I ask if they would put a new anti-bacterial bulb in the unit after the cleaning and they told me no problem. So I ordered one. Today we had to Haden & Andrew come to clean the duct system and they were great. When they arrived I reminded them of the bulb they had agreed to plug in. After the cleaning, they were to mist the ducts with a machine to kill anything bad left in the ducts. Unfortunately the machine used to spray this mist would not power on so they called the office to find out what to do. Afterwards I was told they would need to come back when they got the machine working and they also were told to charge me $65 to change the light bulb. After buying a new unit, a cancelation and rescheduled appointment due to broken equipment, incorrect evaluation of a leak, crooked hole in my wall I told them no to the $65 charge and took my 75 year old bottom to the attic an replaced the bulb in less than five minutes. I felt insulted. And now we wait again for the sprayer to be fixed and them to return to finish this service. The best part of the visit today was Haden and Andrew, they were great guys, answered questions and worked with me to move my dogs and cat out of the way, they did good work and I appreciated them. At present, we are still waiting to get them back to spray the ducts, it is important to us as we have our daughters and children here and we have all experienced upper respiratory and sinus problems as well Asthma recently. I feel if anything a discount should have been offered due to all the trouble it has been getting this partially done.

Casey Hayes was Absolutely Amazing! Is extremely kind and respectful. Answered all my questions…read morethat I had. Would definitely recommend him for any work and would prefer him to be my personal Electrician. Did a fantastic job on installing my surge protector! Now I'm going to be full on transparent on here. I understand that they're a well established company and I understand that things are expensive. However, I spent more than I could afford to get my A/C "fixed", which was the original reason of me getting connected with them. They did a free check, then I had to set up Electrician work for the HVAC guys to come back out which was $2,000. A HVAC guy came after the Electric work was done and didn't do what I would told would have been done, which was checking to see if there were any leaks. He didn't check and instead just put 4lbs of freon and charged me nearly $500 for it. a Month in a half went by and my A/C began to stop working again. In between that time, I had gotten a call from the office to set up a free preventative maintenance for Electric and Plumbing and I was totally for that, since it was free. Which was only because I had signed up to be a member, which they do free maintenance every 6 months and then they also give a 10% discount on services. HVAC came out again to check and had stated that the wires below the house, that connected the outside unit to the inside unit need to be replaced, which I agreed upon that to be replaced, in hopes that would fix it and for me to keep personal record on what is new, etc... Since I have only been in my home for 3 years now and was told things were new but have had issues sooner than I should have. I was charged $750 for that. Then, my A/C was off for a week in a half, while they searched for a part that they claimed that I needed to replace as well and wanted to try and say that they could do it for $2,000. Mind you, I have 2 children. I work a full time job but can barely keep up with everything because I am going through a divorce. I was not able to afford the $3,250 I had already spent on this company and the only good that was done was when Casey did his work and when Nguyen came out to do his inspections for Electric and I'm blanking on the guy I had for my Plumbing Inspection but he was nice and helped me solve an issue with my toilet flusher handle (whatever you want to call it). This is not a bad company. They're very kind, respectful, professional, and polite but I feel the HVAC side needs some work on being a bit more honest and communicating with each other on services being or needing done within a household, especially if the same people aren't going to be coming out each time. I am willing to stay a member to get the free preventative maintenance done and keep eyes on my Electric needs, but I ended up having a neighbor that is in HVAC, come over and fix my A/C. This all occured in the span of roughly 3 - 4 months, starting in July. And every office lady I ever spoke to, was extremely kind as well, so, Customer Service on that end, is just fine.

I strongly recommend avoiding Comfort Wave for any service other than basic tune-ups! I own a…read moreduplex and arranged two work orders with Home Depot. One side was completed for $25.00, which included a detailed, complimentary diagnostic report with printouts and pictures, allowing me to consider future services. On the other property where my elderly veteran father lives, the thermostat wasn't working, so I fixed it by changing the battery. The Tech heard me telling my dad I would change the battery and quickly informed me that diagnosing the issue would incur a $66 rework fee rather than just the Home Depot tune-up cost special for $25.00. However, at the end of the second service, I was charged a non-refundable $166.00 diagnostic fee. Comfort wave tech Sebastian explained that since the work ran past 5 PM, he couldn't give me a quote on the spot but would send one the next day. The next day, the manager informed me that they needed to make a profit from the diagnosis because customers often go with other companies, and I see why customers would do this. The $66.00 service fee should have come with a diagnosis. I told the sales manager that the technician should have clearly communicated that there would be both a $66 charge and a $166.00 charge= $232 for the second property, not just making mention of the $66.00 service fee. I felt deceived since I was only informed of the charges at the "end of the service". If I had known up front, I would have declined to switch to Comfort Waves service. They do have one of the lowest service fees in Oklahoma; however, that is because they will force you at the end of the service with a random cost the homeowner knows nothing about. This is the new scam hustle. I should have only been charged $66.00 for the second property, which is fair. If the time had been before 5 pm, I would have been given quotes to decide to go with a possible repair, and wouldn't have known or been charged the ridiculous diagnostic fee of $166.00. For the $25 service on one side, I received six attached quotes for potential future services with emailed pictures, costs, and diagrams in PDFs. To me, this should be considered part of the tune-up service, allowing customers to decide on any additional services. Again, the $66 service fee should have had the same follow-up service. The quote for the circuit board replacement ended up being $692.00, which was $526.00 after deducting the $166.00 fee. I found this to be outrageous, especially when a local HVAC supplier told me the board costs between $175.00 and $220.00. This experience made it clear that Comfort Wave is taking advantage of homeowners, the elderly, and women, especially. My second $25.00 Home Depot tune-up turned into a wasted $232.00. Here to think them having a cancellation to get both my properties in was a blessing. Nope, it was a big red flag mistake. So, if you are going through Home Depot or Lowe's promotions with local HVAC companies, be fully aware that once you change from the promotional cost, they will scam you into crazy HVAC costs regardless of whether you get work done or not.

Van Dyck Mechanical is an absolute godsend!…read more We had a clog in the sewer line on Monday night. I called our home warranty company on Tuesday morning and they referred a plumber to us, but he couldn't make it until Thursday. When he came out, he was unable to unclog the line. He told me not to worry and to call the city to come out and check the lines. They did and said their lines were clear. Again, he told me not to worry, he was going to do whatever he could to help us out, and he would call me back after talking to our home warranty company. Our home warranty company denied the next step, but he said he would work with us to take care of our problem. He had a machine that was more heavy duty, and he would call me at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to set up a time for Friday. No phone call. I called him 3 times on Friday and left messages. Still no phone call. I was told by my home warranty company that I had to go look for a plumber on my own. I looked up on Yelp, put out requests, and Van Dyck was the only company that actually called me and wanted to talk to me. The other companies just wanted me to schedule an appointment. So I called Van Dyck on Monday afternoon, and they came out today (Tuesday). They were professional, took the time to explain what they were doing, and they were able to unclog the line! I know this review is long, but I wanted to explain why Van Dyck has earned my 5 star rating and my recommendation for this company. I've never had to do this before, and I have had companies try to "pull the wool over my eyes" because they know I don't know what to do or what questions to ask. Van Dyck understood my frustration and I was put at ease. I will be forever grateful to this company! Van Dyck Mechanical LLC is a true example of "The Oklahoman Way"

Almost one year later we had a flood in the hallway with water coming from the filter system that Van Dyck installed. The filter system had fell off the wall due to the system was screwed into the wall with no anchors, just inch and a half screws in the sheet rock. The weight of the filter system caused the filter caps to Crack flooding the mechanical room, entryway and hallway. Van Dyke came out and replaced system and charged the church 580.00. I called and spoke to someone named Derrick and told him this was shoddy work and that the church should should not have pay. He said he would investigate. I received an invoice and was told it had to be paid now. Call a second time and still waiting to hear from Derrick. If they can treat a church this way, I know others can expect the same treatment. We have an maintenance agreement with Van Dyke but we will not be using them again. LG
