This park is easy to find, and parking is available right out front. It seems busiest during the weekdays around 6:30pm, but we're talking usually 4 dogs when it's "busy." The people who generally come are friendly, as are the dogs. Of course, every now and then there will be that one exception. My biggest concern is that they recently put up a playground right next to the dog park. Kids being kids will often wander up to the fences, call out to the dogs, and on occasion throw things over. Depending on your dog and/or the kids, this may or may not be a concern. Overall, this had made me slightly uneasy though.

There is basically 4 different areas in this park - a small dog area, 2 large dog areas and a short wooded path that you can walk on with your dog. Sometimes I've been here where they close half the larger dog area, I'm not sure why this is. In the parking lot, there is a port-a-john for us humans, and trash can/doggie bags for the pups. Everyone seems to be really responsible here with their dog which is a major benefit. Some cons: - can be muddy after rain - no trash cans or bags provided inside the park area, only before you enter the park - sometimes they close half the park (I don't know why this is?) - limited seating/benches for humans

Today the park is a large athletic complex featuring 2 inline hockey rinks, a 2.5K cross country course. 2 sand vollyball courts, 1 artificial turf softball field, an 18 Hole Disc Golf Course, 4 artificial soccer fields. walking paths through meadows & wooded areas, a kickball field, a playground area designed for 5-12 year olds. The playground area has a lot of different apparatus, rubber ground cover and benches. Fully equiped reatrooms can be found in lot 4. Lastly, the park has a dog park. The dog park has a section for small dogs, 2 sections for large dogs, and short wooded area with a path. The dog park is completely fenced in, well maintained, clean and spacious. Add a parent I really appreciated that it wasn't too crowded on a Sunday morning and all of the children there were patient and well behaved. Since it's a bit further away we won't be there daily but will certainly make the 20 minute trip again!

We used Google Maps to find this bark park and it was the hardest thing to find. It led us to some business parking lot and eventually read reviews on here for guidance. Recommend putting in KoKo or Santander Bank that's right next to Assi Plaza then driving all the way back to the last parking lot. You should be able to see the bark park entrance once there. There's two sections separated by large and small dogs. The grass surrounding the areas aren't maintained well but once inside the park, it's fine. My pup went into the small area and no one was there which we liked since the big area had a couple of big dogs which the parents weren't really paying attention to. Definitely prefer Knapp Road bark park better but not bad to come here while it's temporarily closed
