Even with the…read morerain we have had in the last few weeks it's a beautiful (muddy) single track with lots of roots and rocks to keep things interesting. I'd say it's a great mix between technical and runnable, if you enjoy trail running. A few changes in elevation as well. As I get older I appreciate being out in that kind of raw nature and being reminded of God's artwork. They have some primitive areas to camp and some fishing/fun for the whole family. There's a state park fee up front then plenty of parking. I thoroughly enjoyed my race and my time here and will be back soon.

Unfortunately, we did not come on one of these days! We played 3 games, the more games you play the cheaper it gets per person. 1 game is $5 per person. Shoes are $2. We didn't know the pricing was per person, so our bill for 3 games was way higher than we had originally calculated!! We will be back on a discount night from now on! She was rude, needlessly hostile, and enforcing an INSANE stipulation -- bear in mind, she is not the owner. As far as I understand, she had zero authority to do this. It truly seems like she was making this up and targeting me for some indiscernible reason. I went with my husband and his friends to watch them bowl, as a spectator. She came up to our table and demanded that I pay $10 to be there, even though I wasn't bowling myself. I've never seen this at any bowling alley and the friends we were with said they hadn't seen it either. Thankfully, we got this lunacy circumvented, but it put a damper on the night for me. What a way to make someone feel unwelcome. I even bought a drink out of their vending machine before this happened. I wasn't completely loitering. Unless this woman changes her tune or is fired, we're probably never coming back.
