On Mondays from 11:40am-12pm, Utica School District is passing out 7 day meal boxes for ALL school aged kids. Anyone with a child in school can come and pick up a box of food and a gallon of milk. The boxes contain 7 days worth of breakfasts and 7 days worth of lunches, along with a gallon of milk. I have 5 kids in the district and I'm happy to take advantage of this awesome program! The food is all individually packaged, so it easy to store in your fridge, freezer or pantry. And everything in the boxes is all good food! A quick list includes drink boxes, breakfast bars, breads and Pop-Tarts, fruit cups, dried fruit and nuts, frozen pizza slices, subs, Bosco breadsticks, walking taco sticks, pepperoni calzone, and real fruit sorbet. Along with a 2lb bags of frozen GFS veggies and a gallon of 1% milk. All this for 1 child- 7 days worth of food. The workers are awesome- friendly and welcoming and helpful, as they load the food into your vehicle for you- zero contact. There no paper work to fill out and no questions asked. You just simply tell them how many kids you are picking up for. I'll be back weekly on Mondays 11:40am-12pm to pick up my 5 boxes and 5 gallons of milk for my kids. On Feb 11 2022, I was told to call SCREENING REPORTS INC, to see why something was flagged on my background check. (Why are they still looking at their own residents background check when it came back good almost a month ago??) Come to find out this company told me I had not one, but TWO felonies from October 2017, in Mississippi. Guess where I never have step foot? Mississippi. I've never even been to Jail let alone prison. Upon looking up screening reports/better NOI ... I have found that they have an F rating through the better business bureau, a slew of complaints on Google, and a class action lawsuit for reporting inaccurate criminal background information. If sun communities cared in the least about their residents they would would use a BBB accredited source for 100% accurate reporting information. This has been nothing but a hassle and now even worse. I have already signed a purchase agreement, put in my notice to vacate and gotten my loan from the bank to purchase a home in Shelby west. Only after all of that is when this information suddenly came to light. I will update after this gets fixed.

With complaints there is no follow through. Personally, I don't believe dogs should live in a trailer park. There is no place for them to be exercised and have a yard to be in. You must take 100% responsibility for your animals. The office staff have called me about a friend of mine living with me. When he moved in we put him on the paperwork at the office. Ten years later I was called because I had a person living here that shouldn't be. We said look at your paperwork. They finally left us alone.
