I called handyman to fix a leak. Water was getting into my microwave through the vent. They were…read moreunable to fix it but charged me around $200 anyway for the attempt. Before the work was started, they said if it wasn't fixed they'd come back out. After getting paid, they said their work was not guaranteed. They compared themselves to doctors who get paid regardless of wether or not they solve the issue. They said they would come back and look but never showed. Later, I diagnosed the problem myself and had a contractor come out and repair the issue. While it is true they charge similar to doctor's rates, the similarities end there. Understand that if you hire Mr Handyman, you are hiring unskilled labor to work by the hour. If you know exactly what needs to be done and you need someone to shovel a ditch for me instance, they would probably do ok but expect to pay a lot for a ditch digger. #mrhandyman is not so handy.

Skelton's was the 3rd or 4th plumber to come out over the past 4 years, and each time in the past it cost me $350-$500 and discussion of future use of a camera snake and jackhammering if the problem persisted. Andy's tech (Cody, I think was his name) was very polite and diagnosed the problem and jetted the plumbing line in less than an hour. Plus he got my garbage disposal back working. Total cost: $180. Good honest service people are hard to find. I've now found my go-to plumber!

She has been highly responsive since our initial request for pricing and availability. She is on-time and has been flexible when our plans have changed (family visiting). All positive signs, right? But how is the cleaning? Maydelin knows how to really clean- truly a professional. We have always had cleaning services in our homes for over 30 years. There are only two that we would consider exceptional and this is one of them. But remember, you get what you pay for. She was the not the cheapest price, but she shows up on-time and does an awesome job. If your looking for the lowest price, best to probably look elsewhere. This is a fairly new business, but there is no doubt she will be booking up her schedule quickly.
