I had a main sewage line clog that was causing backup. They came out the same day and cleared it…read more They also checked other lines and advised on future work to clear built up grease. They left it as clean as it was before they arrived and were very professional. It's worth every penny knowing someone is here I can trust and they're local.

I'm sure you've heard the saying "when it rains it pours". I don't think that saying is complete…read more It should be "when it rains it pours AND WHEN IT POURS IT FLOODS!" That is exactly what happened to us on President's Day weekend. My husband went to our basement to get a package of toilet paper from our storage spot. Hint one, the lights didn't turn on with the switch at the top of the stairs. Hint two, when he took the last step into the basement he was standing in five inches deep of water! What a disaster! The whole 2,000 Sq foot basement had five inches of standing water. Our sump pump had failed and so had the secondary drain. Now here is where the five star review for Stewart's Plumbing begins. We called one local plumber whom had given us a quote for a bathroom remodel and there was no answer. We called Stewart's Plumbing and hung up when getting an answering machine. Surprise! Less than five minutes later we got a call from Stewart's Plumbing office. They were apologetic about missing our call and wanted to be of assistance. We explained our predicament and the gentleman that runs the office explained the proposal. He thought a new sump pump was probably needed based on the age of our current one. He gave us a firm quote for the sump pump including installation. As for the drain he explained they could run a line with a camera to identify why it had failed. Great! Could they come out that same day? The answer was YES, we could expect the service people at 4 p.m.. At approximately 4 p.m. we received a call from William that they were on the way. We asked that they come to the backdoor as that was the best access to the basement. They followed our instructions and wanted to take off their shoes when entering our home. We advised them that it wasn't necessary as the carpet already needed to be cleaned. William, the owner, and his assistant got right to work. As we expected the sump pump needed replacing and they proceeded with the job. Immediately after the installation of the new, much better quality, sump pump the water started going down. In a half hour time the basement was drained. As for the inspection of the failed drain William explained it would be needed to be done on another day. They scheduled to come back on Friday for that to occur. On Friday a different employee came out to trace the drain with a scope and identify the blockage. It turned out there was no blockage but the drain goes straight to the sump pump not to the outside drain that we thought was the outlet. Duh, of course the drain doesn't work when the sump pump fails. Thank you William and Stewart's Plumbing for the five star experience. Now we just have to clean out all the drenched belongings that were stored in the basement!

Will helps us out in a pinch once again!…read more Coming off of a difficult week with one of our kids being in the hospital, we discovered our basement a/c no longer worked. We called Will, and he made time to come out the next evening. He was able to easily diagnose the problem as a blown capacitor and fixed it at a very reasonable price. We were up and running with a working a/c that same night! Will also remembered some of our other ongoing needs, with another aging a/c on our house and issues with our duplex rental. He is so knowledgeable and truthful when he talks to us about options. Having used his services many times, we trust him when he says if something is an easy fix or needing something more expensive. He is the service pro everyone should have saved in their phone. So lucky to have found him!

Will is, without a doubt, the kindest, most honest, and most patient person I've ever done business…read morewith for home repairs. From the very beginning, he took the time to listen, answer my questions thoroughly, and explain things that no other company took the time to explain. Last summer, I was told I needed to replace my HVAC system before this summer because it uses R-22. Naturally, that was stressful and felt like a huge unexpected expense. When Will came out, he carefully inspected the system and then walked me through the facts. He explained that as long as the unit is working properly, there's no need to replace it just because it uses R-22. He also clarified that refrigerant doesn't need to be added unless there's a leak (contrary to what I had previously been told about it needing regular refills). At no point did he try to upsell me or pressure me into replacing something that still works. Instead, he focused on what was actually necessary and in my best interest. That level of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated. It's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and values doing the right thing over making a quick sale. I truly can't recommend him highly enough and will absolutely continue to use and refer him in the future.

Good company overall. Used them for years. Had one of their monthly plans where you pay a small fee…read moreto get priority services, which did come in handy a couple of times. I will, however, forewarn anyone, they will not refund you the last month of your monthly service fee even if it is just 2 days over and you no longer own the home. My card was charged on the 15th, I officially closed on the sale of my home on the 16th, called to cancel my service on the 17th, and was told by them on the 18th they would NOT be refunding my monthly service charge for that month; the coverage would run through the next month even though I no longer own the home. Adamantly refused is how I would best describe it. They did confirm I would not be charged again after this. Sure, they were very chatty and polite about it, likening the monthly service fee to a month-to-month gym membership, but under no terms would they refund it. I don't own the house anymore. I waited until after the official close to cancel my membership because had something with the furnace or water heater arisen I would have been responsible until the house changed hands, and I wanted to have use of the service I paid for in case I needed it. Thankfully, I did not. This aside they are still a good provider if you need to have your furnace serviced. I did not use them for my water heater replacement because they quoted me several hundred dollars more than what I ultimately paid to get a brand new one installed by another provider. I will certainly keep this in mind the next time I get an offer for any type of monthly membership from these types of services. Updated 07/22/2018 For whatever reason they decided to issue a refund for the service even though I had given up my attempts to request one after I was told on the phone they absolutely would not. So, it was a nice surprise. But I suspect it was only after someone higher up noticed my review and had a change of heart or realized how irrational it was for me to have a service carry over for another month on a home I don't even own. Either way, I'm satisfied. In fairness, I will increase my score with another star.
