CK Pools damaged my pool heater equipment by improper balancing…read moreand causing corrosion inside and then acknowledged fault, and then completely failed to make it right. Despite already accepting responsibility, they refused to refund or properly replace the heater they damaged. After weeks of back-and-forth, delays, and excuses, they finally offered to replace it -- but with a cheaper, off-brand heater, not the brand and quality of the original equipment they broke. To make matters worse, their chemical mismanagement caused extremely high alkalinity, which resulted in guests' hair turning green -- a clear sign of improper water balance and potentially damaging to skin and hair. This is especially alarming for anyone who hosts guests or values safety. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and urgency throughout this process has been exhausting and IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. This happend in August! I have to say I got there about 20 minutes prior to closing and Jackson was there helping a customer but he acknowledged me and said he'd be right with me. He also gave my guidance on some other things to look for in the future. After the test was done we only needed 2 inexpensive chemicals to get us on track. Jackson cared and takes pride in his work. I noticed alot of negative reviews on here and they all seem to be from many years ago. I think things have changed. Furthermore, Butcher's indifference to security means that Butchers employees can sign out keys to customer properties whenever they want, including weekends, without first checking with the homeowner. The improper cleaning and lack of security are the main reasons I terminated my relationship with Butchers.
