The Find doesn't just cater to children; this place has something for everyone. There is usually a nice candles, jewelry, women's clothes, and mugs. I also like their selection of notebooks and pens. They have also had some really cute and functional face masks here during the height of the pandemic. I purchased a couple COIN 1804 masks from them and those turned out to be my favorite ones. The Find also stocks some Fort Wayne themed items like magnets that say "Fort Wayne: It's not that bad," and postcards with drawings of downtown. Regardless of the reason I visit The Find, I usually also end up purchasing greeting cards here too. They have some cute ones for every occasion.

The staff member I encountered was both gracious and courteous. They carry a wide range of merchandise with no particular rhyme or reason, but it all flows, seamlessly. I loved the energy and vibe of the store. There is street parking on either side of the street. I purchased a tshirt on this visit and declared I'd be back to look around and shop again. Perhaps the most notable thing about the boutique store, there is a food pantry donation center located just outside the front entrance. Stop in, if you can, and bring a canned good or 2 if you can spare it.

Fall Mums and Pumpkin Festival was a great time for 3 adults and 3 kids. Held only one month a…read moreyear, weekends in October, the Lincoln Ridge farm was very entertaining for 3 girls, ages 2, 5 and 7 along with adults who wanted a simple day trip. The petting zoo was simple but enthralling for the 5 and 7 year old, who spent many spare moments running back to it. Good cider, inexpensive pumpkin pie slices for $1.25, and caramel apples were terrific. The staff were all very polite and friendly. We did the pedal race cars, The Hoot Mobiles, a dozen times. The kids cheered with each launched pumpkin, or spent ten minutes rolling oversized pumpkins around or jumping on the mountain of hay. The 7 year old loved the riddles that were part of the corn maze. I don't have time to tell about the hay ride, barrel ride, haunted forest, candle dipping, games, just a lot of milling about aimlessly without agenda, resting in bales of hay, and coming back to those Hoot mobiles. We were there 5 hours and spent about $60-70 total. A bargain and a perfect fall day.
