I came in specifically to open a business checking account and move a significant amount of capital based on a $750 bonus promotion I saw on their website. The banker named Britney spent over an hour opening my account. I showed her the promotion on my phone at the very beginning; she even verified the details on her own computer and confirmed that I just needed to maintain a $15,000 balance. However, after an hour of paperwork, she suddenly asked for a "promo code." When we looked again, it turned out the offer was "online only"--something a professional banker should have identified within the first two minutes. When I asked for clarification, the manager came over and was incredibly hostile. He refused to even look at the banker's browser history to see that the mistake was on their end for misinforming me. Instead of apologizing for wasting my time, he actually yelled at me loudly in the middle of the branch. To be yelled at by a manager after their own staff gave me incorrect information is appalling. If you value your time and expect to be treated with basic decency, stay away from this location. Their "bedside manner" is nonexistent and their management is unprofessional.

All brittany kept saying is well it's pending but $23-$6 doesn't equal $8. They just pray on people to not fight for an answer. Also just a heads up to all don't talk about your customers when they are in ear shot. I closed my accounts because of them and their lack of patience, communication, and knowledge.

SERVICE -- I came here months ago on a Saturday when I needed a document notarized. This location is very small so the line was super long. I did not know how small it was until I came in. There are normally only about 3 tellers working here. I stood in line for about 12 mins and then it was my turn to be helped. I was told that the notary could not leave the teller line to help me. She was the only notary available. I even called the bank beforehand to ask whether a notary was available and I was told yes. When I reached the beginning of the service line and it was my turn to be helped, I was told that it could be an hour or two wait before I was helped. Plus, they closed around 2pm and I had somewhere else to be that day so I could not wait here. I think I ended up driving somewhere else. This Chase location needs more notaries. They tried their best to help me but they couldn't. I came here again on Christmas day (Dec. 2018) to withdraw some cash. There is an ATM outside the bank which is convenient. It is not a drive-thru ATM so you will have to park your car in the parking lot then walk up to the ATM. I would not recommend coming here by yourself on holidays because the area is unsafe and it will be a dead zone. LOCATION -- This location is in a strip mall that has a Marcs grocery store, a Dollar store, etc. The safety isn't the best after hours. When I came here on Christmas Day, the area was almost dead. I walked over to the ATM then saw someone walking towards me. The person then turned around and drove off. I really miss the Chase branches in Columbus. I supposes Columbus (Ohio) is lucky to have so many Chase banks around because Chase did buy out the former BankOne about 16 years ago thus creating more Chase branches. Chase seriously needs more bank branches and ATMs in Cleveland. I mean, JPMorgan Chase is a global financial institution. The greater Cleveland and Akron area combined is in the top 20 largest cities in the U.S. Thus, there is a market for Chase here. Look, there isn't even one single Chase bank in Lakewood and they hardly have any locations in the west neighbourhoods of Cleveland. Having more locations means less lines at branches and more customers served. Huntington Bank is everywhere but I do not want to open a Huntington account....lol. This location is about 15 mins from my house which isn't bad. The only other location close enough to me is downtown in the Tower City building which isn't convenient to go to after work hours or on weekends. There were two girls up at the counter where you cash your checks. We went up and the girl was very rude and blunt right off the bat. She was WAY too sarcastic, and it rubbed me the wrong way. It's one thing to be sarcastic, but she mixed rudeness with it and it was not appreciated. My sis in law was only on four hours of sleep, (She worked until 6 am and we were at the bank at 10:30 AM) And the lady said, "Did you just wake up?" Really?! I then said "She got off of work at 6 am this morning." It took me all I could not to tell her what I thought. She then proceeded to tell us that she couldn't cash her check, she would have to deposit it because there wasn't enough in her account to cover it. My sister in law said politely, "My mom never has any trouble when she cashes her check." The rude lady then said, "Well your mom probably has ENOUGH in her account to cover it. I waited less than five minutes for one of the ladies in the office to help me. She was very friendly and spent time talking with me after. They were very clean inside. Parking was not an issue. I was able to park right in front by the door.
