Where…read moreto begin...branch employees are bold faced liars to get your business, no other way of putting that...deceitful...and then they blame YOU and claim that's not what they said. Opened accounts beginning of Jan 2023...it's now mid March and I STILL have not received a bank statement for either account...when I inquire, they blame me and claim my online settings are for paperless when that's not what they are set on...then they tell me to come and pick up by statements! Was originally issued a debit card on the spot when I opened accounts...they did not have them linked properly...had to make two additional trips just to sort that out! The first time I tried to use my ATM debit card, the machine ate my card...had to go into branch, they couldn't retrieve it, so they issued a replacement on the spot...had to change a bunch of info at other accounts as a result! There's been NO customer service whatsoever...the employees at the branch are all rude, defensive, inpatient, and they blame the customer for EVERYTHING! Online banking is the worst...constant log in errors...call the number for help and either get nowhere cuz they are foreigners who don't speak or understand English very well or they pass the buck and refer you around the world to other numbers or places for help and you wind up lost, not knowing who you're really talking to, and extremely frustrated. It's just been an epic fail from day 1 of opening both accounts! Stay away from this bank! I will be switching to a new bank AGAIN very soon! Shame on them for being so inept and wasting people's time and money!

My husband had a payroll check deposited into our joint account Friday on 3/29/24 from his job and…read morewas told by the teller that it would be available on Tuesday, that was the last day for the check to clear. I called today and was told something completely different. I was advised that because this is from a business account and that there was no payroll stamp connected to the check that it would not be cleared until Thursday 4/3/24. He was not made aware of this and we even faxed over an image of check as advised from the bank. We will be closing our account as soon as this check clears and we can withdrawal the funds. The miscommunication is what has done it for us. Not to mention I went into the bank on Saturday to confirm when the check would clear and was assured it would be on Tuesday as well. Highly do not recommend banking with them.

It's weird to review banks in the first place, but Third Federal has amazing products and fantastic staff. Earlier today I spoke with Kathleen in the Medina branch and she has bent over backwards to help me with one of their products. My current mortgage was through a brokerage local to me, but if I was choosing, Third Federal has unbelievable rates on mortgages and related products. Mainly, I find that interacting with banks can be stressful and intimidating. Kathleen and Third Federal do not feel that way, they feel more like an old-fashioned local bank. I highly recommend their service and their competitive rates.

And it only cost me me $95 to relock my rate because they were running a promotion. Normally they would have charged me $295 to relock, which is what I expected. So when they told me it was $95, I couldn't believe it. What a great bank!! Even better than the credit union I normally work with!
