We ordered delivery from there this week. We both got fruit smoothies (she got one with mango and two other fruits and I got one with strawberry, pineapple, and something else) and they were delicious!!! I also got a bacon cheeseburger deluxe, and it came with fries. It was hot, the cheese was melted, which is the perfect temp for me, and the burger was juicy^^. Fries were crisp and thick. Loved my lunch that day, will definitely order again on the future. I know they have other stuff such as soups and wraps, so I look forward to trying the other items on the menu. My only complaint is that I thought it would come with lettuce and tomato, but I don't think they add that unless you specifically request it. Eat better today! And maybe tomorrow, too!

It's disappointing to know that customers from multiple nearby charter and public schools, as well as Lincoln Hospital's staff, are not valued customers at this deli. I think the best part was the gentleman who prepared my salad this afternoon. From the moment I approached the counter he had me "laughing out loud" with all his antics. He was pleasant and a joy to interact with even though he told me they don't have avocado as a salad option. I'm not in the area often and if I am it's only driving thru, so today I was happy for an options that was fresh and I could enjoy. I went with Spinach greens, Cajun chicken, red onions, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, chic peas, red kidney beans and balsamic vinaigrette on the side. Inconspicuous, just sitting there with the word "DELI" in large letters, it makes you wonder if your GPS is working. But trust me, it is. I had some wonderful meals and quality coffee while in the Bronx, but this Chopped Cheese from First Deli was first on my list of favorites.
