I'm someone who gets a bit nervous at mechanics because I don't want them to scam me and I'm always a bit worried that I'm gonna agree to something that's gonna end up costing me an arm and a leg. Not so here. All the guys I talked to were chill and didn't pressure me to do anything. They were quick in diagnosing what was going on (free diagnostic which is pretty amazing) and then walked me out to show me the problem (some bolts were loose/actually fell out, so my caliper was scraping my rotor. Yikes..) They were transparent with price and also how long it was going to take and I felt like I was always clued in and treated with respect. Was taken care of by Dale. They did their eval which, unfortunately for my friend, was 4 pages long. Basically, the car was 23 years old and needed to be scrapped as it could not be repaired due to no longer available parts anywhere. While charging a modest fee for the eval, Sabo also stored the car for 2 weeks and called around to see what my friend could get for scrap. No charge for the storage and facilitation. Nothing but kind, friendly service, real help, more than fair prices, excellent communications, and once something is fixed at Sabo, it stays fixed.

Every time I come in for a simple oil change, I'm pressured to purchase a long list of additional services that aren't necessary. The last oil change they didn't even change the oil filter, and the oil itself didn't appear to be new. The new staff behind the counter are also unprofessional and disorganized. I called ahead to schedule an appointment, but when I arrived, they tried to reschedule me for another day instead of honoring the appointment I had already made. After years of being a customer, this was the final straw. The service quality has gone downhill, and my recent experiences have been a complete waste of time. Services that I have had so far: oil change, car check, tire rotation, new wheel bearings and some other stuff around this done, they have fixed my tire on another occasion and most recently helped me to secure something to my car for a fraction of the price another place was trying to charge me.
