We called Blake out again to which he set more traps, identified entry points around the outside of the house, and sealed everything up. He was kind, polite, and very knowledgeable. He showed us what he was doing and why. I personally love when I learn the "why". After sealing up the house, he came back 2 weeks later to check on the traps and see how things were going. Their service comes with a solid warranty and any new critters we encounter, just give them a call and they'll come out to check, diagnose, and fix. They also lied about their guarantee and refused to give me my money back. When I called to cancel they kept transferring me and giving me the run around. After over an hour on the phone they said I could cancel but there would be a $200 cancelation fee for something I never agreed to. I refused to pay the fee and then they said it was too late in the day to cancel (4pm) and hung up on me. I had to call my bank to cancel my card and file a chargeback. They are also facing a class action lawsuit because of their deceptive sales tactics and blatant violation of contract law, which should give you an idea of what a scam they are. I highly suggest anyone dealing with their scam does the same thing I did, especially considering the FTC 3 day cool down rule which lets you cancel within 3 days of any home solicitation sale. When I brought this up to them the sales person tried to get off the phone and transfer me. Save yourself the headache and avoid Eco Shield like the plague.

One of my attics was nailed shut and inaccessible. There is no way it was inspected. The other attic had minimal signs of activity, and the technicians confirmed there were no mice or nests. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the technicians tried to "fix" things by adding insulation to the unsealed attic, which felt like a bait‑and‑switch tactic. This entire situation has made it very hard to trust the company or the services I was sold. On top of that, I was also sold a contract for garage door seals--only to be told later that the service couldn't be performed because Ecoshield didn't carry the seals for my type of door. The technician even mentioned that this service should never have been sold to me in the first place and this contract was canceled. Between the inaccurate inspection claims and selling a service that couldn't be delivered, I feel misled and frustrated. I requested a pricing adjustment to reflect the actual conditions, but the overall experience has left me questioning the integrity of the inspection and sales process.
