Warning do not hire this company. They will not show up when promised. Their fences are substandard and they are very hard to work with. If you have a problem later on they will not work with you to resolve the problem. Avoid like the plague. read more

Over the phone I discussed with Wesley the requirement to break out the cost of common parts of the fence (in order to share costs) and estimate/bill separately the siding, on a fence shared by 4 people with different requirements. He told me they do that all the time. On arriving to survey for estimate, he changed his mind and declined to bid. I suspect they have enough work to cherry pick only the most simple jobs. Not a good indicator of customer-focus. Wesley then declined to meet two of my neighbors who had their own completely separate fencing requirements they wanted bid - and he had no idea what those requirements were. WARNING...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Very friendly when you first contact them but when the work is done, and problems arise (and they definitely will), they will ghost you and you will NEVER hear from them again. The fence posts are HORRIBLE. I'd give them a 0 if I could. read more

Hurricane Fence is the worst contractor I ever hired, Wesley showed the existing fence in the neighborhood as his workmanship and based on which I gave him the order to replace few sections of the fence. what he did in my house is totally different then what he showed to me, he took entire money in advance and also admit over the phone that by mistake he put a wrong fence but he never came back to fix the fence in-spite of his promises to fix the problem. after waiting for several months finally when I called him he start abusing over the phone and said do what ever you want to do, I will neither fix the fence nor will refund the money. I called Hurricane Fence and asked for an estimate for a fence for my home in Katy, TX. I gave my address, my home phone (land line) and e-mail address. Indicated I prefer to be contacted through e-mail. After 3 weeks, no body called or contacted. When I called back after 3 weeks, gave my name, and inquired why I was not contacted, the woman on the phone asked my address and phone number again. Somehow, the name was not enough. I asked why I was not contacted through my e-mail. She saids they don't deal with emails, and rudely hung up on me. They are located on Pasadena southeast of Houston, and evidently too far from Katy. If so, she should have told me so when I first called. read more

Had a wooden fence installed about 2 years ago. A 5 foot section from the house to a sidewalk has fallen over and broken my backflow preventer. I called them up and the guy asked if I had flower beds around it. I said no. He grumbled and said they'd come out. 2 months later still no show. They should change their name to whisper fence. Hurricane Fence Co. completed the fence promptly and on budget. The fence looks good, but only time will tell, of course, how durable it is. The main reason I'm writing this review is because they re-constructed a section of fence at their own cost because of a permitting mistake by the city. The city had approved Hurricane Fence Co.'s fence blueprint and issued the permit, but after construction was finished, a city inspector nevertheless red-tagged the fence as non-compliant (even though it had been built exactly according to the plans previously approved by the city). When questioned, the city said, essentially, "my bad." Furthermore, even though Hurricane Fence Co. itself suffered flood damage to their own offices during Harvey, they nevertheless promptly re-built the fence per the city's requirements and ate the cost. They're a stand-up family-owned Houston business that I whole-heartedly recommend. read more

It went well. Donald Graham came out to measure the fencing and frankly this is why Hurricane got my business. Other companies were asking me to measure the fence or said they had drones (?) that would look over the property and determine measurement and cost. To test this theory, I gave them the exact measurements Donald gave me and their price went up $500.00. Wesley, the owner, schedules the jobs and spoke with me personally about my scheduling concerns. The fence is a thing of beauty. I want to seal it ASAP so that it can maintain it's good looks. They do a good job but the owner seems to always be in a bad mood and the price for service has increased a lot as of late.

I had the worse experience of my life dealing with Hurricane Fence. I choose this company because the owner Wesley Marsh promised a strong fence that will last, good quality materials to built my wood fence, and built my vision. He was very nice and promised a good fence that will last. He got my money $3750.00 the removed my existing wood fence and when his workers started the job and the materials arrive that is when problems started the posts were cracked, damaged and the posts are the most important for a good fence. The material were of poor quality even worse the workers were choosing the worse materials to use in my fence and the good they were putting aside to take with them. When I tried to talk to Wesley Marsh about what his workers were doing, he threaten me to stop construction and to send his attorneys to deal with me. He told me to stop interrupting and to let his workers built the fence with damaged materials! He got so violent and angry I felt threaten and in fear of Wesley Marsh. I got dogs and I needed my fence done and finish so I let them finish the job. I feel that I choose the wrong company! I feel that I just wasted $7500.00 and I was mistreated. He told me I don't care what you have to say My workers will do what I say and finish the job as I want and I don't care about your complaints will see at the end ? And threaten to send his attorneys after me!!! I felt so violated and helpless about this situation to see them use damages materials, cracked Posts to set fence, the workers were not using concrete to set the posts the were mixing it to much with grave and sand I wanted them to use only concrete to warranty that the fence will last and be strong! with frustration I saw all they were doing that was wrong and not having him do the job right! This is a review for hurricane fence, after searching and getting several estimates, I went with these people , and I regret it. They did not do what I told them I wanted . The owner did not communicate to welder and the posts were shorter and therefore had to be removed and done over and they looked terrible. They did not even mentioned that the electricity was not included , how do,you get an electric gate with no electricity. Other estimates included everything. Terrible company. Wished I had gone with another company. Buyer beware. read more

Unfortunately the representative, Wesley Marsh, acted inappropriately and unprofessionally when he came out to give an estimate for fence repair at my employer's home. Throughout the process of showing Wesley what my employer needed done he complained and questioned their requests. Before I could even finish showing him what work they wanted Wesley said something along the lines of, "You're boss sounds crazy. I'm not working for someone like this!" He promptly left afterwards. He is within his right to deny work, and hold whatever opinion he wants about my employer, but he should perhaps work on communicating these opinions in a more respectable and professional manner. Furthermore, we already received an estimate from another company who found my boss's request perfectly legitimate. His behavior not only disrespected my employers, but also my time and professionalism as a personal assistant. I'd like to believe his behavior is not a reflection on how the business operates as a whole. Overall, it was a disappointing and infuriating experience. read more

Hurricane Fence replaced several fences @ my townhome community in the Spring/Summer 2016. In less than 90 Days, one of the slats @ my home began to rot. Because the owner of this company had boasted about his warranty work when he was here, I was confident this repair would be taken care of in a timely manner. They have yet to come out to repair, despite my numerous requests in 1.5 year for them to repair this. Hurricane Fence did notify me via email last October that they would come out to repair, but have never done so. read more
