On October 22, 2019:…read more A must stop for shopping plus always my favorite store located in the Mackinaw Crossings shopping plaza, is called "Sharky's Mackinaw Outfitters." This store has 30,000 Sq. Ft. Of Merchandise! Oh yes.. walking in this store is truly unbelievable. A warehouse of wood structure selling merchandise here and there and everywhere. There are many walls, shelves and counters of Mackinaw memory of souvenirs. Look for the log rustic style on the exterior as well as the stairs that travel to the 2nd Floor upstairs which contains All Items for a price of $ 9.99 or less. I found my purchases in racks labeled by sizes. This vacation travel souvenir store sells: T-shirts, Shorts, Sweatshirts, Sweatpants, Hats, Tote Bags, Bathing suits, Under Armour, Novelty Items, Glassware, Stoneware, Shoes, Boots along with Fishing & Camping Gear. A Must stop in Mackinaw City to buy many items for low prices. The staff employees are working around to assist your shopping spree and check out is fast as well. Cash or the plastic cards is payment. This trip I shopped light. I bought 2 pair of clearance (@7.99), soft jersey capris. I couldn't decide on which color so I bought them both for Me! I will enjoy wearing them all year long. Also I bought a cool iridescent colored coffee/tea or hot toddy mug. (Photos attached) :) Check out this amazing store. You will definitely find something in your budget plus bring back home a memory of Mackinaw City !

Eventually I was looking at some of their toys and probably the owner came up to me yelling about how I can't open products. Showed me a crumbled sign that was barely legible since it was folded over. He even tried to touch me while screaming about he won't be able to sell this overpriced crap. I said if it really bothers you I can buy it, he said no then at the end of our interaction he demanded I buy it. I wouldn't have a problem buying it if yet again, it wasn't overpriced.

Being Canadian, I love shopping in the USA for food that we don't have in Canada. There's a Family Fare Supermarket there. Prices aren't all that great though. There's also a Kohl's, JC Penney, Jo-Ann, a shoe store and some other stores. Lots of free parking.

The second time I had occasion to go into the Dollar Tree looking for decaffeinated tea to drink in the evening but they didn't have any that was marked decaf. I bought a bag of popcorn and a carton of chicken broth instead. When I looked at the grocery store, Family Fare, I found some Constant Comment type decaffeinated tea which I hope I will like. I saw a Penney's store and a sporting goods store, even a Bed Bath & Beyond to my surprise. Across the road there's even a Walmart. The Marathon Gas station seems to be part of the center also and I think you can get money off on your gas if you shop at the Family Fare. I thought the gas price was pretty fair even without a discount. I had just researched gas prices on GasBuddy.com in the morning so I had a pretty good idea what the range was for this date.
