Hidden gem in Columbus. If you don't go early, i recommend a reservation. My meal and appetizer were exactly what and how I wanted them. Very attentive and personable service. Good bar selection and cocktails. Also, very reasonable prices so great food and drinks at a friendly price = yes! Go have a steak or some killer prime rib!

Fabulous local family business. Excellent service, steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious. A must when in town!

This place seems to be a town favorite. I'm not sure why. If you've ever been to an unkept old folks home that smells like stale wet diapers and stagnant unclean smoke, dust, and interior. You've got the Huskers steakhouse. Yum! The wait staff was attentive, but called me "sunshine", "sweetie", "my love" and something else : l - and our beer came quickly so that's good? My husbands steak was done correctly, but tasted like ham? And our onion rings were homemade but tasted like breading with a vague flavor of onion and freezer burn. I'm not clear what about this business keeps people coming back but there it is. I also got violently ill for the 2 days following our visit, my husband also had stomach upset after eating here. Maybe consider a place with interior cleanliness habits or at least sanitation procedures.

It was every bit as good as I had hoped. Shuck's knows seafood--and they know how to make dining fun. From their lively, engaging servers to their inviting atmosphere and unique menu offerings, everything comes together to create a memorable experience. Most importantly, the quality of the food consistently shines through. My wife and I ordered the Deep South Risotto, a delicious combination of fresh shrimp, Andouille sausage, and green beans tossed in a spicy, creamy risotto. We also enjoyed the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, featuring perfectly cooked teriyaki-glazed salmon served over a blend of brown rice and red quinoa with tender sautéed broccoli. Paired with Shuck's famously ice-cold draft beer, these excellent entrées made for the perfect lunch before heading over to Big Ten Baseball at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. If you're visiting Omaha and find yourself downtown, make time for Shuck's Fish House & Oyster Bar. Great seafood, great atmosphere, and great service--you won't be disappointed.

I wish the cocktail was a bit bigger. We had to wait a while for our food, I think someone may have called out from the staff because the two waitresses were running around A LOT but did their best to take care of everyone!!

Celebrated our anniversary at Salted Edge, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish…read more Our server greeted us with an anniversary card and two glasses of prosecco, which immediately set the tone for the evening. Although we didn't sit by the water, the ambiance in our section was warm, intimate, and perfect for the occasion. We began with the Carnival Crunch Eggrolls, and they were phenomenal -- crispy, flavorful, and elevated even further by a sauce that deserves its own spotlight. Our entrées arrived quickly: the miso‑glazed Faroe Island salmon for me, and the braised short rib with lobster mac for my better half. The salmon was incredibly tender and buttery, while the short rib was perfectly seasoned and melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender. The brown sauce accompanying it was so good I'd happily put it on everything I eat. The lobster mac and cheese was, without exaggeration, the best mac I've ever had. Salted Edge is on the pricier side, but for a special occasion, the quality and experience make it absolutely worth it.

Pretty difficult to get a reservation on the weekend unless you think ahead but they also have a bar with open seating if you want to go that route which is what I did. The restaurant itself has an outdoor patio with impeccable views of the lake. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. This time I got wagyu bolognese, lobster bisque, honey cornbread, and wagyu sliders. The wagyu sliders were so moist and cooked to perfection. They're paired well with an aioli that's gives it a little flair. The highlight of the show was the Wagyu Bolognese. I often struggle with pasta being too heavy of a dish but this one was perfect. The pasta was very tender and was clearly homemade which was bonus points for me. Bar service was great and I've never had any complaints. Can't wait to be back for more here soon!
