That's been a constant problem, even from before. The new register setup isn't as convenient and now you have to put your cart into the lane people use to come in and out while you're paying. They have a nice little deli, plenty of pop, snacks, and a rather impressive selection of liquor place that appears to be in a town of only a few hundred. well, we didn't get any food, they looked to have a nice array of fresh made sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, delicious hand pies, as well as miniature normal pies, and even breakfast items. It definitely serves the dual function as convenient store and small restaurant for the area. What's not to love! Everybody that we interacted with was really friendly, and due to the relatively small size of the building, we were able to get out rather quickly. It was a great little stop and one that we will likely be visiting again the next time we pass by!

I got everything for a nice BBQ chicken dinner with corn on the cob (plus some candy and other treats) for $40. The manager was very nice and came over to let me know he was there if I needed anything. I was originally going to buy ribs; however, they were frozen, and I needed something quickly defrosted to throw into a crock pot. The ribs did look very tasty, though. The meat selection overall is pretty good. There are even some asian food items in here. They had refrigerated yakisoba noodles and some asian sauces that are sometimes hard to find, especially in small towns. Next time I'm there, I will get ingredients for stir fry! Only knock is that they aren't open very late, but then again, nothing is really open after 7 pm except the Round Up Grill!

As a local, I'm very grateful to have the Columbia Market (which has a locals discount) for having my back whenever I forget things in town. This store works hard to carry everything from fresh produce & deli items (amazing take & bake pizzas & parfaits) to things us locals sometimes need in a pinch (eggs, half & half, sugar). Not to mention they basically have a full liquor store, and great deals on the little mini-shooters that I like to use for stocking-stuffers during the holidays. I bought my mom a quality (touristy) Columbia River Gorge hat here once, it's very cute and she wears it all the time. Essential stop for PCT thru-hikers resupplying.
