From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Flow, the barista, was absolutely amazing--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the pastries and the coffee. It's always refreshing to meet someone who genuinely enjoys what they do, and it shows in the service. She shared that they roast their beans in house, which explains the rich, fresh flavor in every cup. They also sell the beans on site, and there's even a coffee grinder available for customers, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone passing through town. And the pastries? Yummy and perfect alongside the coffee. If you're traveling through Stevenson or working in the area like we were, this place is definitely worth the stop. And also sad because it ruined a beautiful piece of bread. I tried scraping off the salt but that was impossible without removing all of the bread topping. Had the menu mentioned the salt, I would have asked them to hold it. Perhaps staff could have asked, "Would you like salt on that?" or just had salt available on the counter for folks to add their own if desired. The view from this place is amazing. What a wonderful location to sit outside and look at the river and the gorge and see trains pass by. I would have purchased a chocolate chip cookie, but $5.50 for a cookie is ridiculous.
