It's another industrial park tasting room, but they have rice pudding porter. Brewery tasting room hidden away in a typical industrial park with small opening hours. One person on staff. Decor inside was bright, clean, minimalist. Low ceilings. Pours are gigantic, like 7oz "sampler" pours served in clear Smucker's jam jars. Beers on tap were okay with some flops. Best beer was the rice pudding porter by far that has an horchata spice flavor. Staff was very friendly. Love their graphic design. They also have guest taps but samples only of house beers. 4.5 Stars overall Very friendly service and patrons. Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick beer and a pint glass. I had been looking for something unique in the area and didn't love the beers at SanTan and wasn't able to go to Four Peaks on 8th as the line was insane on a Saturday afternoon. Overall I thought the beers were pretty good for my bastardized Cali IPA based frame if reference. I enjoyed the Magic in the Ivy. I also tried a few of their other beers, Fresh Magic, which wasn't so fresh anymore as it is a Wet Hop beer that was about 4 months old and I had their IPA. The That'll Do IPA was a 3/5 but not that amazing when compared to what I'm used to. I loved the fact that the taproom was set up to be very social and also they had other beers featured as well. I liked that I could come in and taste the Huss brews and then also some other unaffiliated beers as well. I had the Super IPA collaboration from New Belgium and Alpine as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Huss and thought the level of service was fantastic. the prices are also insanely reasonable to fill your growler and if I lived local would have bought one without hesitation. Had wanted to visit this place for a bit and decided to bring my dad here for his first ever brewery visit. He walked in genuinely expecting a sports bar like atmosphere and was blown away by how "homey" the place felt. So much so, that he was talking it up for hours afterwards. I had the Milk Stout on nitro and the Koffee Kolsch. He had the Raspberry Wheat and the Scottsdale Blonde. All four were delicious! He's not much for dark beer so I picked his out and the bartender working gave him samples beforehand. The Milk Stout was incredibly smooth and creamy on nitro. Rich flavor and way too easy to chug. The Koffee Kolsch hits you over the head with coffee scent the second you pick up the glass, which for me is an strong positive. My dad had the Scottsdale Blonde, which was a typical blonde, and pretty tasty. He's a wheat beer fan, and was a little reluctant to get the raspberry wheat because he thought it would be too fruity... I honestly think he expected a wine cooler. There's a decent raspberry flavor to it, but it's a tasty wheat beer. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the beers we had, and love the fact that they have other breweries beers on tap as well. Definitely give this place a try, I'll probably be back soon! read more

Such an awesome hole in the wall brewery. We showed up at opening at 3pm in the middle of the week expecting to be the only people at the bar. Luckily there was already someone else, so we were in good drinking company. We were there during happy hour where all the drinks are (I think) and extra $1 off. We ordered a flight- super easy to order since you just write the # of the tap you want on the chalkboard lazy susan of beer. Such a great way to keep your beer organized while you drink. There are many options, both made in house, collaborations, and from other breweries. You cant go wrong! There are also board games/coloring books to keep you occupied while you drink! read more

After a disappointing flight of beer at a nearby brewery, we got lucky last night at Huss Brewing. The peanut butter stout was excellent, as was the Guinness & pretty much all the beers I sampled. I'd give it 5 stars if the fluorescent lights weren't so annoying but the tasting room is getting a refresh soon, so I'm sure the place will be rocking then. Great little tap room off the beaten path. All their beers are great and it's one of the few places where you can get Coconut Joe on tap. It's never especially busy inside, so I recommend going in if you're looking for something a little more low key. Huss Brewery is diffidently on my top Brewery's. The atmosphere and energy of this place is very down to earth and friendly. We admire the bartender she was so amazing. When you visit you need to ask for the mojo one of her famous blends. One concern my husband and I had was food because we know that some of our local brewery's are just tap rooms and it was around lunch time. we decided to check the place out anyway and wait on lunch. Sad to say it is just a tap room BUT we found out that you can bring in food. Keep in mind most tap rooms you can't. I loved this place. I think I am enjoying small breweries more and more. I had the Scottsdale Blonde, it is very smooth and light beer. I also had a taste of another one that had a great coffee flavor, I forgot the name. There is no food service, however you can bring food in. We used to come here back when it was Rio Salado brewing Company. It's in the middle of an industrial park so it leaves a lot to be desired as far as location and atmosphere. But they have done a good job making this tasting room more interesting. I always like to play Jenga when we come. They also offer a yoga class in the brew Space on Sunday. Huss brewing company has replaced the location of long-loved and greatly-missed rio Salado. Tucked away in a ridiculously odd location, it seems as though no logical beer drinking could be happening. And yet, Huss is far from that. A great tap-tasting room. Don't expect food (unless there's a food truck), don't expect a bar scene. This is a place dedicated to real appreciators of beer. They have both huss beers and other local treats. Most of their beers are very drinkable, if not overly complex. Their ipa's have been better than others, but I still enjoy the tasting process, regardless. read more
