    Friday night at Fate Brewing

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fate Brewing offers great spaces to hold private events.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were scheduled to host our school event in the Beer Garden but due to unforeseen weather conditions- rain and lots of it I was able to communicate with Kerby (event coordinator) and they provided a plan b. It was great working with Kerby leading up to our event. The staff were very pleasant, attentive and made the event enjoyable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Loft space is clean, offers low lighting, a bar area and you can use the stairs or elevator to get to the space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire restaurant is lively and has a great atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We selected the lunch buffet option that included 2 appetizers, a salad and 2 pizza selections. I was able to customize our menu to accommodate different dietary options - gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and nut free. Food items were labeled and presented nicely for guest to read. Feedback is for staff to inform guest if a non alcoholic beverage is not covered in the beverage package added to the catering order. Guest ordered pink lemonade thinking it was covered and they were billed separately.

I came here for an event. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The event was held in the loft upstairs and it had an amazing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was friendly and quick. I got a French Martini and it was delicious and strong (good ratio). For food, our event did 3 different types of pizza, appetizers, and a salad. The salad was delicious and the fruit/vegetables inside of it were extremely fresh. Fate has a good pizza selection with gluten free and vegan options as needed. I had their pepperoni and it was probably one of the better pizzas I have a had at a brewery in Tempe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it was a great location for an event and would be fun even with just a group of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in for dinner because I was craving my favorite dish from Fate-- the roasted red pepper chicken serve with cilantro lime rice and vegetables! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This dish alone keeps me coming back love the ambiance, especially sitting out on the patio during the cooler months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped by Fate Brewing for brunch and had a nice experience overall. The service was good, as is typically the case when I've visited their Scottsdale location. Servers are attentive without being overbearing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was relaxed since we went for brunch, which made for a great Labor Day morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their outdoor patio is definitely a highlight, especially with cooler Arizona weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Drunken Chicken , which was tasty, but about half of the pieces of chicken had a rubbery texture that wasn't the best. Still, the flavor was solid and the rest of the chicken was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all, a pleasant brunch spot with a nice vibe. I'd come back, especially to enjoy the patio again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Walking in from car to outdoor bar with ample seating, quick service, ice water delivered with menus. 3 tastings of beer offered before choosing and filling jug I brought in for refill. Hasty hour prices good. Great service, lots of good beer! Cheers!

There have been worse days, there have been better days. Fortunately, the unexpected trip to Fate helped tip the scales in the better day direction. Service, food, and atmosphere were all great - they have to doing something right with the size of the crowd on a Wednesday evening.

I'm visiting from out of state, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fate Brewing Company is an amazing place to chill outside -- especially if you're new to the area or just visiting Tempe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is super relaxed, the beer and food were great, and everyone here was incredibly nice and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved it! The spa day IPA and the Snickers stout are by far the best!

Stopped by Fate Brewing for a quick visit in Tempe and had a great experience. Tried their spicy beer which was surprisingly really tasty with a nice kick at the end. Service was quick and awesome, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]it was a nice touch that they turned on the misters while we enjoyed the porch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Short stop, but definitely worth it!

Fate Brewing in Tempe has a great selection of beer--definitely a highlight. They've got some solid brews that make it worth a stop if you're into craft beer. That said, the food was just okay--nothing to write home about--and the service was noticeably slow during our visit. Plenty of patio and bar seating, they don't take reservations. If I'm stacking it up against other local spots, Arizona Wilderness still takes the cake for the overall experience. Fate is fine for a chill drink, but not necessarily my go-to for food or fast service.

fatebrewingtempe is one of three locations, including Phoenix and Scottsdale. This south Tempe location is a beautiful relaxing spot. The patio is large, with half of the seating being picnic table style seating under big shade trees. Fate started in Scottsdale in 2012 with a 7 barrel brewhouse and realized quickly that they needed to brew more. They expanded to a 15 barrel brewhouse and more locations. I enjoyed a solo afternoon sitting on the patio reading my book, eating pizza, and sipping a cocktail. The first cocktail that I chose was the Whiskey Tango, which included Gentleman Jack, pineapple, lemon, and sprite. I stuck with whiskey and next chose the Midwest Summer of Jameson, blackberries, and lemon. Both were great and went well with my unique pizza selection. I chose the Grape Escape which had roasted grapes, goat cheese and balsamic glaze. I really enjoyed the savory and sweet and ended up with tasty leftovers. I look forward to trying Fate's other locations.

super yummy, i have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed! the pizza and drunken chicken were both 10/10's, but the chicken club is my go to order it's so addicting!!!! servers are always super nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's a very chill laid back vibe especially in the patio area, perfect for family get together or a lunch date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've been here several times to hang out with friends as it's conveniently located and they have a good range of food and drinks! Most recently, I got the Asian chopped salad with grilled chicken. It was good except there are actual pieces of lime mixed in so I had some unexpected sour bites. Not sure why they put lime in the salad like that. I haven't had issues with the other food I've gotten before though. The staff are very friendly and do a good job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also a lot of seating inside, upstairs, and on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Do they have a covered patio? (Trying to still bring the dogs despite the rain)

Yes - the Tempe location has a large covered outdoor area where we have sat with our dogs.

How much are Flights of beer?

$2 per 4 ounce size. They don't have a flight where you pick 4 or 6 choices and they bring out the little 2 ounce shot glasses. I just ordered 2-3 4 ounce glasses at a time (so I didn't get warm beer by getting 6 at a time).

My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

While it's not in the heart of Old Town, it's within walking distance. We stopped by on a Thursday around 9:30 p.m. While we were on foot, I noticed that they have a parking lot. Ambiance (4/5): Relatively small for a brewery, but your typical chill, brewery vibes. They have some seats at the bar, some high tops, and a small patio. We sat out on the patio since the weather was nice. The seats out there are a bit uncomfortable, but we couldn't pass up on patio weather. They have free water in the corner which is always a plus so you don't have to wait in line. Service (5/5): The bartender working was super nice. It's always appreciated when servers go above and beyond in providing a great experience. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. An added bonus was that this beer is a sour. Not something you have every day, nor a style of beer that you come across very often. So I had to take advantage of the opportunity. And it was a good one. Goldwater is my type of place. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

Goldwater has indoor and outdoor seating options. It was a warm day so we sat inside at the hi-top. I didn't see food options available but it is located next to a few restaurants. My husband and friend enjoyed their beer flights and since I don't drink beer, I was happy to see a cooler with wine and other options such as white claw, etc. the beer was poured directly from the fermenter tank. The staff were very friendly and explained they had to open the wine bottle and make the first pour which was fine with me. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

We passed AZ Wilderness and saw how busy they were so we stopped at Greenwood as they were less busy and we had never tried their beer before. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered the seltzer on tap and it was good + refreshing. My husband also ordered the Mango Lassi and loved it. One of the highlights was chatting with Dan, who has been bartending for eight years. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about the brewing process and the brewery itself. I also learned that the brewery was founded by Megan Greenwood, and it's impressive to see how her vision has grown into a well-known local brewery. The brewing operation includes seven tanks, giving visitors a glimpse into the production side of the business. For anyone interested in seeing more behind the scenes, Greenwood Brewing does offer brewery tours. There isn't a set tour schedule, so it's best to ask staff about availability when you visit. One feature I thought was especially cool was the live Instagram follower counter displayed behind the bar. Watching the number update in real time was a fun and unique touch that added to the brewery's modern, community-focused atmosphere. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was engaging, and it was fun getting a closer look at the brewing process while enjoying quality craft beer.
