Everyone seemed focused on improving while still keeping the environment friendly and supportive for all skill levels. The location is great for anyone in East Pflugerville. Parking was easy and not overcrowded, and although the academy is tucked behind a few storefronts, it's still very accessible once you know where it is. Overall, this is an excellent place to train, learn, and grow in jiu-jitsu whether you're a beginner or experienced practitioner. The Round Rock TaeKwondo is affiliated with the Tiger Rock program. They have several locations in the Austin area and membership to one allows you to take classes at any of their locations. They offer TaeKwondo, Jiu Jitsu, grappling and Yoga classes for toddlers to adults. We have been here for almost a month now. This is location is owned by Mr. Toohey and run by his wife, both are super friendly. Mr. Toohey is very good with kids. He is firm, yet nurturing. He has their respect and they look forward to coming to class everyday. I have never seen my boys so excited to go anywhere. They are even cleaning their rooms and practicing piano just so they can go to TaeKwondo. The new location is much larger, with large viewing windows and a separate room for their after school care. The family membership is a great deal so my husband and I are going to try their Jiu Jitsu program. If you are looking for a great martial arts program in a family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend this location.

This particular center stood out to me because they offer classes for toddlers (their Tiny Tots classes, ages 2-3). My daughter attended for a couple months until they unfortunately dropped an early time slot that worked for us (due to low attendance). It was a 20 minute class but it was filled with a variety of exercises -- climbing, crawling, jumping, kicking, catching, and much more. The classes were bookended by an intro to discipline (bowing and addressing their Sensei). I definitely saw an improvement in my daughter after multiple sessions -- her physical skills improved as did her attitude. She seemed to really enjoy it as well.
