This lack of changing clothing is also directly correlated to the lack of physical fitness in these classes. On the first visit on his birthday weekend, one of the instructors took her time to approach me and ask if the music was to loud for my son. I was both shocked and grateful. She asked as she reviewed my son's paperwork when I signed him up which indicated that my son has Asperger syndrome. A significant number of people with Asperger's Syndrome have been perceived to display either an over-sensitivity or an under-sensitivity to sensory stimuli. In my son's case, although he is a musician who plays multiple instruments, loud sounds are troublesome for him. Aside from this, the instructor also checked in on him to make sure that he was using proper technique. Aside from the service provided here, the gym is clean and is operated like a Cheers "where everybody knows your name". I am pleased thus far with the instructors, price point and the convenient class hours.

Small group atmosphere is great, other program style workouts you get into larger classes and the instructors are just a voice on the mic. 9Round the moves are easy, quick to teach and the team is there for personal corrections and motivation. But my main favorite about 9Round is the intensity of the workout. I am able to warmup much quicker than expected and based on the heart rate zones will spend almost the entire time in the green zone or higher. In a 33 minute workout, I will usually spend 15 minutes or more above 84% heart rate. On those days when you just don't feel like working out (luckily I have a workout buddy) punching the bags is a great release for the frustration. It is pretty much a guarantee that I will leave dripping sweat and in a better mood than when I walked in.

Since the time he started at RRBJJ, the brotherhood has grown exponentially between the coaches and the team. There is a camaraderie within this team that is hard to describe. You don't have to have been on Team Rabadi for years to feel like you are actually part of that team. I've seen coaches and seasoned BJJ competitors welcome new students to the school without hesitation and offer additional time to those 'newbies' who are interested and wanting to learn. There is no intimidation upon entering through the school doors, just a sense that you're about to get one hell of a workout and meet some new friends. How can you not make friends when the positions you put yourself in (or are put in by others) can be fairly awkward!? I do love this school and the team it has built. No, I don't train there, but I do feel like a part of the family.

They mentioned that they need to have the advertising taken off groupon website. It is a week later and their groupon is still active on Group.com. So I opted for kickboxing and scheduled a class for 7:15 and was told to be there 10-15 minutes before class starts. I arrived at 7:01 and waited till 7:16. The door was locked and 2 people sparring in the back. They saw we when I knocked loudly but they ignored me. I suspected that they had a private session going one. I then left. Never got call but I suspect I will get one after posting here.

On top of that it has to be 30 day notice so if you get charged and come in 2 weeks later you will get charged one more month. It's 2016 it should not be this hard to cancel.
