I use to love coming to this place and now I remember why I stopped! I gotta pedicure with shellac, and my 4 year old got her toes and nails painted no shellac whyyyy were her nails and toes 40 dollars for regular paint. They didn't have to cut or do nothing. Mine were 50 understandable kinda they didn't even have no bubbles or soap in my water just luke warm water. Yeah will not be coming back here. I had a full set of acrylic and pedicure today for a very special event. I am not impressed. Last time I tried to drop in to this shop, I.was told by the owner I needed to make an appointment. This time, I stopped by to make an appt. for Fri. They were having a slow day, so they pressured me into having it done today. Even though they weren't busy, they rushed me through the acrylic ap./mani/pedi and did a very mediocre job. The only thing I like is the neutral color I requested. I was not given a menu of services, or quoted a price in advance, and was charged $110.00. (They charge an extra 3% for using a card and clearly expect a 20% tip.). The shop was not clean and there was constant VERY LOUD chatter in Vietnamese. It was like they were having a private party and clients were excluded. It was not relaxing at all. I got through it, was polite, and gave them their tip and extra 3%. but in retrospect, I feel "burned, hustled, and disrespected. read more

Love this spot! Location is not somewhere I would expect to see a nail salon, but it works. The door is automatically locked, so in order to enter you have to page from outside. Thought this was a nice, safe feature of the business! The only downside is that they are SWAMPED with customers! Sign of a good business, but also takes awhile to be seen. I called ahead and reserved a 11am pedicure on a Sunday, and still didn't get touched until about 11:30-11:45. Hello, I want everyone to know that yesterday I went and had my nails done and unfortunately I had to sit next to a rude, mean & a bully of a lady. The nail technician who was doing the mean ladies nails was filing and when she was done with the filing, the technician held up the mean ladies hand and asked if it was ok, the lady shook her head in a yes nod. The technician then proceeded to start painting her nails. Halfway through the mean lady said you didn't ask me about the shape. The technician apologized and said she could do acrylics over the nails. The mean lady said no, these are my own nails. She then told the tech that she should always ask the customer about the nail shape, and this was a lesson learned. The technician finished painting the nails and the mean lady went up to pay and asked how much of a discount she was getting due to the fxxx up. I told my nail technician that she should pay double!! I was referred to HV Nail Salon by a friend, and they did not disappoint. I called to make an appointment for a full set the day before I wanted to go, with no problem. When I arrived, the nail tech unlocked the door for me, I washed my hands then wiped down my phone with Lysol wipe provided by them. I watched the nail tech wipe my seat down before I sat down. There were 2 other customers in the salon while I was there; all at least 6 ft from me. I got a basic set of acrylic powder nails. It took about a hour to complete. My only gripe about my service was that the nail techs weren't wearing gloves and they reused Nail files, which I thought was a tad unsanitary. I did however watch all of them wash their hands and put on hand sanitizer multiple times during my service. One nail broke and they fixed it free of charge. And the saga continues! After the horrific nail job I got! I actually asked for a refund that's how dissatisfied I was.... I was taught you're word is you're bond! After a brief conversation the next day whoever the owner of this establishment was she agreed to give me a refund back to my acct! Well a few days went by and she had stated she needed the bank to walk her through a refund ummmm ok so she did that! She texted me a screen shot of something that said refund ok!! A week later I noticed NO REFUND so I text her she said she would contact bank... She said she didn't know what happened nor the bank..... So at this point she offers me a check ok!! She stated I could go in and pick check up next morning okkkkk!! I couldn't come in that morning due to work but I did tell her I would come in that day after work.. I get there the welcome was not so fuzzy no one seemed to want to help me much less talk to me finally a lady comes out she seems ANGRY she starts to fill out check and says " I need you're license" at this point I'm DONE! Need my license for a refund that no one knows how to do?? She asked for it so rudely I walked out the door! I have been here before and this time I brought my mom and sister along. We showed up 20 minutes to our appointment and they still was able to get us all in and we were done within an hour. I won't be back. After a couple of good experiences, the last time I was here it was really filthy and two people on staff were walking around with shoes off even. There were other people's clippings at the station and it was generally really unclean. I also waited forever between my pedicure and manicure and no one seemed to care. I was also charged more than the time prior, which seemed subjective. Sad, but I have moved on. I really hope they up the hygiene.
