I simply showed her a photo of the nail design I wanted, and she recreated it beautifully--it turned out even better than I imagined! The results exceeded my expectations. I thought "even tho it's Friday I'm going to be able to relax and not be rushed" Instead I was told to pick a color (which I did) & ignored while two more customers walked in & were directly sat in pedicure chairs. One of them even received a hug (I'm assuming a regular); again I thought "must be nice to receive such a kind greeting!" So I'm walking around aimlessly until I ask where do I sit while I wait. Now I'm sat in the chair, I was offered coffee/water. That was the nicest thing so far. I refused, not because I was offput or anything but because I brought my own water. service is started I ask my nail technician for a service I receive everytime I get a pedicure. For acrylic big toenail. She turns to her coworker who doesn't break her concentration to make eye contact and tells her "no we're busy" My tech looks up at me and tries to convey the message. I already understood. I am a sitting customer but was asked to come back later to get what I actually wanted or to settle for what they could do right now. I sat a bit frazzled for a moment & asked to be clear "so I am a customer & cannot receive the service I am requesting?" she looked quite bothered to break the news to me but she did. She was kind when telling me I was only getting what they were giving (in so many words) Being that I was on a break at work. I agreed. The rest of the pedicure was actually amazing. I just wish I couldve gotten what I wanted. Maybe next time I'll have to make an appt because the service itself was amazing. Cindy is GREAT & I'll be tipping her personally. She is the only reason I will be coming back here.

I would go again!…read more For $16 I got a polish change (fingers) and brow wax. The polish was replacing a poor job I got last weekend. I've had it on for an hour and can't stop staring. The polish reaches both sides of my nail (which it should always do) and is super cute. After painting one finger the gal checked with me to make sure I liked the color and after she was done she offered me sparkles of the same color before putting the top coat on. She wasn't overly chatty, made me feel comfortable and didn't scold me when I accidentally bumped my wet nail against the fan causing a smudge.

Turns out, I seem to have developed an allergy to wax, as I had a very intense and painful reaction on the skin that was waxed. But, once my skin healed? Dark tint and brow shape look great! Lisa let me know that she doesn't like to taper the end of the brow and I was feeling like mine weren't looking feminine enough, so I reached back out after and she offered to adjust them. We had a great time during the appointment. We got things off on the right foot (insert sarcasm here) when I broke her table... Yep, put one butt cheek up on it and the whole thing came crashing down. She was so cool about it, even though I was super embarrassed. I'm fat, so I was blaming myself and she just kept telling me that it was a super old table and she needed to get a new one anyway.
