I decided to eat dinner on the property in the AC kitchen and seated myself outside on a lovely outdoor patio with a light breeze. While the menu came quickly, as did the beer I ordered, I awaited the food. I ordered the chicken soup as well as pasta Pomodoro with chicken. I've had the chicken soup before, and I was never disappointed until now - I seem to remember it had fresh slices of avocado that were nowhere to be seen this time around. The soup was also just above lukewarm, a little less warm than I prefer frankly. The taste was all right, but it looked like they had added frozen carrots in little cubes to the soup. That was disheartening. When the pasta Pomodoro showed up, it was not a large portion, and the chicken appeared to be almost lightly fried and was in hard little cubes - very odd as the chicken in the soup was perfect. Well, the pasta itself tasted just fine but I found the chicken - hard little lumps - really was offputting. I'm not quite sure what the chef or kitchen was thinking when they designed this meal. But the larger problem for me was that the waiter essentially disappeared. I sat and waited for probably 10 minutes after I finished my food and I finally got up to leave and passed by the entrance to the restaurant and told them I was ready for my bill. Of course they were very quick to oblige, but they had three people standing around, and my waiter only acted when I asked for the bill instead of bringing it to me. Very disheartening. I'm sorry my Bill interrupted your job (!) - so yes, I was not too pleased with the lack of service. I will probably come again for work, but I'm not certain if I will eat here - it might just be better to walk across the street to the Antea Mall instead. Step it up AC kitchen, please.

We switched rooms 3 different times. 1st had a scorpion on the bathroom 2nd had live cucarachas 3rd had dead cucarachas Then the General Manager Juan Carlos had the nerve to tell us that we have brought them with us. The room with dead cucarachas was been inspected by me and the Hilton personal and that's when we found dead cucarachas. Juan Carlos told us that he would upgrade us to a bigger suite when he found out that cucarachas have been a his hotel prior to us been there. And we got nothing. They put us back on the same rooms. I over heard other customer having the same issues. Food was horrible, dry. Not flavor. Old from day before. This place used to be what you expected from a Hilton but this is a random corner Motel. - --------------------- Aug 2022 I have been staying here for a couple years now. I have notice that their service has gone down, quality of their food and lack of maintenance to their installation. Their pool is falling a part, hot tub has not work for at least a year. Front desk people aren't the friendliest. I think it's time for new management.

I feel very comfortable and my room has been spotless every time I come back. The hotel is new so there isn't a lot of people yet so we have been enjoying the pool to ourselves. I won't go into great detail other than, It's been almost a week since ive tried contacting the hotel and after 5 attempt, I still have yet to get a call back from either Gustavo (Hotel Mgr) or Alejandro (who knows what title - Mgr). The front desk has been more than helpful, but their idiot management team has yet to call me back to clear up....their mistake. I was already billed for my stay, but these jackasses can't figure out how to dismiss this pre-authorized charge they put on my card, and mind you...without my consent. My Card, Citi bank told me that they can't cancel the charge until the Merchant releases it....or, after 30 days...lol...Unbelievable!!! Not Citi Banks fault...it's just their protocol. After 30 days, it's then disputed and the merchant will be charged some fee or whatever. I travel abroad monthly...and have never been treated like this...ever. Yes, yes...gold plated problem...I know...But these two jackasses are just inconsiderate, unprofessional morons. I love Marriot and Hilton...hell, even the IHC across the street is nice. given the current state of management here, I would strongly NOT recommend this property to anyone. They are incredibly inept and what's worse, they can't even return a call to remedy, their mistake. Unbelievable. I now have Marriot corporate working on this to resolve...it's truly sickening it had to come to this.

However my experience this time was not well balanced. The restaurant and amenity areas are nice as expected, but the rooms are just like any other hotel...nothing fancy. My room clock was an hour behind and I could not change it to the right time (iHome HBN20). My biggest problem was checking out. Spent 20 min on line until I got an alert on my Marriot app that I could check out on line, which I immediately did and just left my key on the front desk. I felt bad for the others who had to wait. Not coming back, I will try a different brand in this city.

I travel a ton (diamond with Hilton and gold with marriot) and this property ranks right up there with some of the more "high-end" properties up in the States. The customer service here is Ritz Carlton-worthy - no lie. The rooms are very spacious - with amazing beds, firm and labeled pillows...who does that?? Firm the soft - I LOVE this place!! The shower - where to begin?? I could have thrown a Vegas-Esk bubble party in there, glow sticks and all!!
