Overall great experience there aren't many shops like this around. Every part of the store has a story being told. We spent a good 40 mins walking around looking at every inch of the store there is so much to See and I didn't feel overwhelmed. I had to see the entire store then did a quick walk through one more time making sure I didn't miss anything. When you walk in you feel like you are teleported into a magical land of some sort. I wanted to buy everything. I'm honesty going back for more before I leave Idaho. They even wrapped a gift I bought for my sister with beautiful bows you don't get that often! Prices were what I expected for a shop like this. You can find lots of gifts for loved ones are something for yourself !

A fun Hyde Park shop that accurately depicts itself of having "uncommon goods" throughout their store. It's not a shop that you'll fully appreciate if you're impatient or in a rush. I think it's best served going in with some patience. Seemingly every space of this corner store entails really cool items, whether it is paper goods, lighting, candles, textiles, simple gifts, or furniture. I really loved the huge ferris wheel that sadly wasn't for sale. Friendly customer service, just step in and wander around, as I bet you'll find something unique that might catch your eye!

Wow! What a store filled with a-may-zing (read it that way) gifts, trinkets, and gifts you should buy for your self and wrap up in cute paper and open three seconds later! You will want everything in here. Okkkk, there may be one thing that doesn't fire your fancy but I am sure it will fit someone in your life. This wonderful store has things you would never think of which means you have to go see it to know. This store isn't accessible. The walkways /isles are overly narrow, and while I have a small purse, I am ALWAYS worried about knocking something over on accident. In addition, I also would NOT bring children in here. There are some extremely expensively wonderful items in here and because of the narrow isles, breaking something is probable with a little mini around. I know if I was a kid in there I would touch everything, (oh ya, I still am a kid and yes, I still touch everything! Lucky for me I am in an adult body disguise costume and I can get away with it. )

Hmmm... Ok this was my first time in this wonderful little store. 1st, being in Hyde Park Neighborhood, the name is pretty fantastic. You can see from across the street how do incredible this place is. The big windows allow you to get a great idea and you are truly drawn in. There is so much to look at. SO MUCH! It's awesome. It reminds me of a honey craft type store that I would shop at with my mom when she lived back home...and the type of store we would still go to together. She would LOVE this store. However, I'm pretty sure this isn't the typical type of little craft store lol. Everything looks like a homey antique, but (and yell at me if I'm wrong) I'm pretty sure everything in there is brand new. The store is legit brilliant. You could spend a GREAT amount of time in there and still miss something haha! They have so much! Wait, I said that already, huh? Well, I'll probably say it again because OMG! So much! Hahaha! The lady working there was very nice. Immediately asked if we needed help and after a bit asked again. Great customer service. Every piece in there is so unique and wonderful. I'm don't want repeat myself too much here haha! One thing, it's a cute little store with SO MUCH (See, I keep saying it lol) and it is a north end store. So, expect to pay a little more at this place. The location, sure, but more so because of how unique their stuff is. Lots of things for all over the house and outside your house. Lawn ornaments and whatnot. Really Is a beautiful store. I'll definitely go back, I'll definitely bring newbies there because IIIIIII am no longer a newbie! My Hyde and Seek cherry is.....know what, never mind. That would have been an inappropriate comment to make hahahaha! I am no longer a newbie tho and will be so excited to show people this store because it is that great! Knick knacks, jewelry, furniture, some toys (really cute toys) home decor, and on and on is what you will find here. If you haven't been, you need to! You won't regret it! Also, it's super important for us to support our local businesses! Especially ones as special as this little store. Thanks for reading, Yelpereees! Cheers!

Located on 6th street, this shop is your one stop shop for all things Idaho, handmade and incredibly special. Most of my favorite makers were there (think Ladybug Press, Sawtooth Glass Project, City Peanut Shop, All Spun Up, Sage Woolens, etc.) It felt like a holiday craft bazaar that is open year round and housing the very best products. I found the selection to be varied and affordable. You could find things for men, women, children, pets and even yourself! It bears repeating that you are paying for handcrafted, small-business wares. It is not going to have the same price tag as a manufactured good from a big box store. It will be a higher price tag. I like to think that I'm paying for a story. My purchased items contain all the love, hope, and hard work that each maker poured into their product. I love to give handmade stuff for gifts and I think they are appreciated a lot more than something I could ship from Amazon. The shop keepers were lovely. I think they are some of the makers, but it was so very busy when I went in that I didn't want to bog them down with conversation. If you are looking for special presents, this is the place to go. Although this is 30 minutes from our front door, it is our go to when we're looking for pastured pork or poultry products. (We don't eat beef but they have that too.) If they had a good selection of local lamb cuts it would be golden for us - our favorite protein - but it is a harder sell for them so they carry less. (Americans consume on average only 1 pound of lamb / person / year. And about 97 pounds of chicken per person annually. Both are shocking numbers.) We purchased bone-in pork shoulder from Malheur which I boned and cut up for Asado de Bodas (aka Mexican wedding stew, I think, sort of mole meets asado de puerco) cutting off the beautiful fresh fat cap to render down for sauteing the veg, and using the bone to make a pork broth to freeze for pozole sometime in the future. And if you like to cook Italian food, Malheur made jowl bacon (otherwise known in Italy as guanciale) this winter which was sold here and is THE perfect thing for carbonara and Amatriciana sauces. My Brooklyn born hubby is Italian heritage and grew up with an Italian speaking nonna in the kitchen so we have used a lot of guanciale - not in Boise though where it is hard to find - and this is the best we have ever used. Still not carrying much fresh market produce but they have added Acme Bread to the line up and on Saturdays I think Acme rotates in a special kind of loaf. From time to time they have had "meet the maker" tastings on Saturdays for some of the vendors they carry. And here's a tip you'll thank me for - if they have local Morning Star Acres jam on the shelf, buy it. Especially the huckleberry! SERVICE: The owner is on site almost all the time, very friendly, very responsive to FB messaging if you have questions about something in stock and always able to help by phone too before making a trip if you're looking for something specific. SET UP: Small but with a good expanse of windows it is light and bright and well organized with refrigerator / freezer case along one wall, larder / pantry shelving next to that with food products for sale and other items - like local artists and crafters goods for sale- also placed around the store. ACCESSIBILITY: ADA parking correctly designed for van access striping on the passenger side adjacent to building. Small ramp up to sidewalk. All on one floor. Ample floor clearance. The loo fails ADA and Idaho code compliance with counters and towel dispenser too high. The eat in counter has only high stool level seating so inaccessible. The ADA is 30 years old in July and it is past time to get this right everywhere for equal access. (Yep. I have a dog in this hunt since I have had MS since college.) LOCATION: In the Bench neighborhood right across from Idaho Youth Ranch thrift shop and just next door to a Vincent St. Paul sales store. PARKING: Private lot has about 15 parking spaces.

With a revised and bit expanded menu and a new young Chef in the kitchen, formerly Executive Chef at a Portland area McMenamins, this was a unique little gem before and the changes have polished it even brighter. The menu spans options from soup through appetizers and starter or main course sized salads through entrees to desserts. Prices range from $6 to $18.
