I was just looking for a nice place close to my daughter, I get lost a lot... LOL, and I found Tangles in Springfield TN. I called on 12-18 and got an appointment with Billie Jo for 12-23, just in time for Christmas. I have very thick, long ( mid-back) hair, and I'm usually in the chair at least an hour. Billie Jo washed, dried and styled my hair in 30 min. She listened to my concerns, and did my hair perfectly, not flat ironing too much and giving my bangs some volume. My hair looks natural, and I feel so much prettier. Thank you Billie Jo Grant!!!!

I was very specific and even showed him a picture of what I wanted, he proceeded to cut it much shorter than I asked him to, and carved out a chunk of my bangs so huge that it can't be covered or corrected by a different barber that presumably wouldn't be afflicted with the same ineptitude. It's so scuffed that you could probably tell I have a bad cut even if I wear a hat just from the bangs sticking out on one side and not the other. When I brought this up he proceeded to tell me that it is due to the way my hair grows. When I pulled my hair back to show him that my hairline is even on both sides he didn't have another excuse. I am not normally someone that complains and I have never taken the time to leave a review before, but this cut is so bad that I wonder if it was intentional, surely this is a result of malicious intention and not something a serious barber is capable of doing when actually trying. I could live with a bad haircut, but this haircut makes me look like I was in a car accident and needed a random part of my scalp shaved in preparation for brain surgery. Do not mistake this for a joke review. TLDR; My bangs look like they were cut by a high speed sawblade ejection
