My fiance and I decided to try Hydrate IV Bar after landing in Denver from Chicago. We are so glad we did! This trip was my first time in Colorado, I noticed I was feeling more tired than usual and headachy, considering I am accustomed to a lower altitude. I was certainly in need of some relaxation and hydration. We decided on the Jet Lag/Fatigue IV Therapy which included B Complex Vitamins and Vitamin C. My first impression of Hydrate IV Bar was that it portrayed a very warm and home style environment. The clinic was incredibly clean and inviting. There was an assortment of treats (mints, caramels, healthy granola bars, coffee, water, etc.) all of which made me feel welcomed. The layout of the establishment had a separate area for both checking in (lobby) and the actual clinical area (relaxing chairs for IV infusion). This separation ensured a comfortable environment. I have always been uneasy of needles but after talking with the owner and the nurse, who eventually put the IV in place, I felt completely at ease. It didn't hurt at all! So if anyone is hesitant to try this because of a fear of needles, I promise (from a "needlephobic" herself) that it was the most painless needle ever! Especially because of the calming atmosphere and the nurses expertise. Once the IV was set up, I was able to get cozy with a fuzzy blanket in a comfy reclining chair. During the IV, I could truly feel myself getting more energy. I noticed I was feeling more balanced and alert. This was my first time ever going to an IV bar, and I can honestly say I probably picked the best one out of them all. As soon as you walk in the door they make you feel like regular, the decor and comfortable leather chairs are amazing and was offered water, which to me is superior customer service. I received the Myers Cocktail and received the MIC injection. The rest of the day I felt a little tired and drain, but that is expected when you body is overwhelmed with all the electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals. The next day was when I truly felt the difference, I woke up more energized and focused. I truly wish these were in NY cause I would go at least once a week to feel this great all the time. My boyfriend wanted to "check it out" I was skeptical at first and once we decided to actually get a treatment I got a little nervous but... Katie was great talking is through the options and easing my nerves. The place is really cute, well decorated, art on the wall for sale so I eased into my comfy lounge chair and they hooked me up. Really was just a relaxing experience and I wasn't feeling great when I walked in and left feeling pretty great. Added the B-12 shot too. Sounds like some of the Broncos and Rapids players have found their way to Hydrate, as well as some other serious athletes in other sports, and are coming back as repeat customers. Several of my girlfriends and I travelled to Denver for Bachelorette party and thought this would be a great idea for one of the mornings. We were somewhat high maintenance with first scheduling to have hydrate IV come to our house. We later changed our plans to not only come into the bar but to also switch our day, last minute. Katie Wafer, Blake and the entire staff were nothing short of accommodating and took care of us. We completely changed the plan on them(short notice) and they didn't even bat an eye. These guys are awesome! My first time ever getting an IV. Not really having a fear of needles, I will admit, I was still a little nervous. I expected it to be more like a clinic, but when I went in, there were couches, a tv and they made me coffee. It was great! The entire staff was super friendly. Andrew was the one that gave me the IV and he made it look easy. I got the flu bag because I wasnt feeling well. And it helped almost immediately. I am now a believer! So if you are starting to feel a cold coming on or just not feeling well because you spent the night before drinking, I would highly recommend going to see these guys. Hydrate is extremely clean, but still very comfortable. It doesn't feel like going to a doctors office where everything is too white. They have some really comfortable chairs and even have blankets if you get chilly. I was feeling pretty miserable due to a little over indulgence. I could barely drive because my headache and nausea were so bad. The girls were so kind and understanding. It was easy to fill out the paperwork and get started almost immediately. I had their hang over IV with some added magnesium. It really worked wonders. By the time I left, I was actually feeling hungry and my headache was completely gone. Hydrate is so innovative and a great addition to Denver. As soon as you step inside, the atmosphere is so inviting and so relaxing it's a perfect place to go sit and feel better. I have been here a few different times for a few different reasons, and each time it has been a total knock out experience. The front desk person (whose name I am embarrassed I don't know at this point) has been a total rock-star each time--helpful, friendly and courteous. The same goes for the clinical staff. The facility itself is very cozy, and exceptionally tidy and clean without feeling like a yuck-o fluorescent-lit medical facility. Honestly can't believe how well IV Therapy worked...I've always been skeptical and hate needles, but felt 1000% better post iv therapy. Can't thank the staff enough. After spending 2 weeks away (9 hour time zone difference), I visited Hydrate for the jet lag iv therapy treatment. I wasn't expecting immediate miracles just needed to feel better.
