I often leave 5 star reviews when someone does a great job, and rarely, if ever, leave a negative review. However, I'm still trying to clean excess grout sealer off the tile on our bathroom walls a year after they resealed our grout in March of 2023. The color does look better, but many of the grout lines bleed over onto the tile, resulting in a very sloppy-looking job. The worst part was, I had told Connie that I'd had the bathtub reglazed and needed to have the guy come back to fix a couple of small spots he missed. She told me to have him do that first because she didn't want him messing up her grout work, so I did. When Connie and her granddaughter came to seal the grout, her granddaughter so badly scarred and scratched the tub in multiple places, I've just had to pay $750 to have it completely redone. For the $650 I paid to Connie I feel our tile should have looked fabulous and the tub reglaze should have remained intact. She and her granddaughter only spent half a day on the job as they seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere. Our bathroom is small, but apparently it should have taken quite a bit longer than that.

Initially, I was pleased to welcome a seemingly kind and personable cleaner who assured me of her capabilities. We discussed the job, and I expressed our expectations for a thorough and satisfactory outcome. After about one and a half hours of work, she presented the supposed results of her efforts. Unfortunately, the "cleaning" she claimed to have done left much to be desired. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, she insisted that the carpet was as good as it could get and promptly collected payment before departing. Upon closer inspection, our disappointment grew. We discovered areas on the stairs where the scrubber had seemingly been left too long, resulting in what looked like burn marks. Seeking a genuinely clean, fresh outcome, we took matters into our own hands, using a Simple Green solution in our Hoover. The stark difference between the areas we cleaned and those Oxi Fresh deemed "clean" was undeniable. In an attempt to address the issues, I reached out to the company, detailing the problems and requesting a redo of the job. Shockingly, I was informed that any warranty was voided because I had used Simple Green, and they refused to rectify the situation. Despite my plea, the owner declined to address the larger carpeted area but reluctantly agreed to redo the stairs. Undeterred, my wife and I spent hours scrubbing the carpet ourselves with an eight-year-old Hoover. Surprisingly, our efforts yielded impressive results - the carpet looked new and smelled refreshing. This disappointing experience with Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning in Knoxville, TN, has taught us not to rely on their services again. A paint company pulled the dye out of our polished concrete floor using goof off. The only way to…read morerepair this damage was to grind the floor over again to get below the sealer and dye. I contacted Thunder at Tuf Cleaning and after explaining our problem he agreed to grind the floor, add new dye to the floor and then seal it with a product that would prevent further accidents and chemicals from staining the concrete. During this time my wife has been bedridden and dying from cancer. I put my trust in Thunder and did not feel that it was necessary to read every word of his estimate. After he had completed the new dye I was able to go out and check his work on our floor. I noticed right away that there were several new discolored areas where none existed before. Thunder explained that he was still working on the floor. When I asked him what product he was planning on using to seal the floor he told me about a sealer that would not protect our floor from chemicals and acid staining contrary to what we initially agreed upon. When I went to look at the finished floor I found several areas that were worse than what he started with and he excuse was that concrete is difficult to dye right. When I read his estimate I saw that he had wrote on the estimate "Strip, stain, polish and seal." This is NOT WHAT WE AGREED TO. Then he tells me that grinding the floor "is not something that he is willing to do." WTF? My wife died in her bed this morning. DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS CONTRACTOR. Anyone who would take advantage of a grieving family should never be trusted. Now I have to find someone else to correct the damage that TUF Cleaning has done to our floor.
